Funny isn't it as Tig was born in 1999 but I guess that as her half sister Mega Delight was mum to Westmead Hawk and the other Westmead dogs many greyhound people have bred back to them to try to get Derby winners like Hawk was so now we're seeing the pups coming into retirement if they're not as good as their dad was. I'm not sure about Lucy's breeding - or really how good it is .. her dad is Ballymac Maeve and a friend says the Ballymac kennel is huge in Ireland but funny that there are a lot of Ballymac greys coming into retirement now round here. Lucy ran at Hall Green and Coventry so maybe there's a connection to trainers in the Midlands ... nice to see their relatives tho 🙂 J x

Tigger seems to be related to loads of the dogs that are coming through the kennels at present.

Brilliant to see Dandy so loved. We reserved him on the weekend, and can't wait to get him home! Dandy will complete the family - two hamsters, two very excited little girls, mummy and daddy and now lovely Dandy! Thanks everybody!

That's so funny Jeff. I've had one if those days today, but if the theme continues tomorrow. I'll imagine 'Carrie's Way' of dealing with a problem - that'll certainly put a smile on my face! Mand x

This is carries first day in my special downstairs room with the fireplace than I only seem to use during the winter , it has memories of Eve and Carrie wasn't sure what to do when she got in here , so she took a pee on the rug that's her answer to everyone of life's problems , I wish it was so simple

Hi Harryracer, I remember you telling me about Maisie. Is she the little girl that broke her hock? If she's half as lovely as H, I might just have to snap her up! Look forward to seeing you both soon at the track. Tina : )

  • Barney

    I’m Homed

Barney came along with me and H to the 'Just for Pets' roadshow on Saturday at Yardley. Considering it was all new, he coped amazingly well. He met lots of people and small children too and was unfazed by the attention and fuss bestowed upon him! There were a few that seemed really keen on him so fingers crossed he may be a step closer to a new home! He spent most of Sunday at Daybreaks and after collecting him we went for a walk around Elmdon park - not something I would have attempted the week before. However Barney is becoming more accustomed to seeing other breeds and now doesn't bark like he used to. We're getting there Barney! Keep it up clever boy (Aka Fathead - love ya really!) Tina x
