With both Dale and Derry being homed, it's clear to me that Shanesmum and family need to do this fostering malarky more. They are obviously great at drawing out personalities. I think Katie should be next, she's been around so long and desperately needs a new home. She's gorgeous, i just don't understand it xx

Took my birthday boy to pets at home in Tamworth to buy some pressies - all going great until he saw the rabbits in their pen! He was transfixed - stood trembling from head to foot with excitement, licking his lips. He took a bit of persuading to move away (had to keep a tight hold on the lead and the house collar just in case). Think we may have overdone it with the ball games in the park, then training class plus extra treats and his favourite sausages for tea. He had a bit of tummy ache last night and is still very tired this morning - a short walk, I think, this morning plus a restful snooze til lunchtime. xxx

Well sardines n dry food tonight xx yummy xx mum took me out for a walk at 6 this morning n I seen a cat boy did I want that cat the stupid cat didn't move Mum had to hold me really tight xx think I need some work on this xx the think they look oh so yummy xx time for another walk now c u later x

Did a bit of training with this really clever girl today and she soon realised that if she left the fluffy toy and came when called she'd get a nice piece of sausage 🙂 Like her kennel mate Cornelia Katie was very bright ...they are both such lovely girls there must be someone out there who wants an intelligent greyhound to have lots of fun with ? Julie x

Well I'm not sure that the lovely Cornelia had an ideal birthday but she did have lots of hot dog sausages 🙂 I took her out for a walk with Amy and Paul and two other greys .. we'd done a bit of Clicker training before we set off and Cornelia was wearing a nice harness made by Mekuti with one of their double ended leads (we use them all the time in TTouch) When she does something really good like look away from a bouncy dog or from a scarey thing .. like the loose labrador in the lane 🙁 she gets a really nice treat to show her that was just what was wanted :). Cornelia was very quick to understand and I used the word 'here' when I wanted her to look at me or come .. she stared at a squirrel but didn't do anything else then I asked her to come 'here' and she walked off with me so got a reward. She was quite worried by the loose lab and was panting as he headed our way but then he stayed by his car so she walked past him tho couldn't eat a treat 🙁 on the way back we just walked a bit quicker past him and she made no other reaction so she got a nice treat for being such a brave girl again 🙂 She's very bright and picks things up quickly so hopefully someone will love to have such a clever grey as a pet 🙂 Julie x

I'm so happy & excited for my gorgeous Dale, reserved by a lovely family today and off to his well deserved forever home soon. It's been an absolute joy to have had him here and I wish him and BraseFamily a happy life together.XxX
