Talk about laid-back-Larry, this evening he was fast asleep on his settee when he fell off and just continued sleeping where he landed (gently) on the floor.xx

Hi all, I can tell you that Rita (now named Breeze) is settling in very well and already feels like a member of the family. We are really pleased to say that she is no problem at all. She is funny, cheeky and a friendly girl. Sue & Lee x

    Over the Rainbow Bridge

Big day tomorrow for Norris as he's back for his check at the Willows. I can tell you now he will not be impressed in the morning as he's not allowed any breakfast. He's amazing now and like a different dog from the one we first brought home in June (well we already know his leg has an extra bit in it but that's not what I mean!) He's clever and so much more confident and he's getting really playful. As the toys are still off-limits until we get the verdict from the vet, he's making his own entertainment with whatever he can find, or by just trying to engage me in a game of tag 🙂 so funny as he squeaked at me last night when he was obviously frustrated when I wasn't joining in. Think he gets fed up hearing me say 'just calm down'! Keeping everything crossed for tomorrow xx

Right then Buddy. Let's get you sorted. You have been here only a week or so less than Fire. You are a lovely big, softy and we need to get you a permanent home. Best smile on with matching waggy tail, if you please! 🙂

I have just got back from the vets with a very poorly girl. She has had loads of teeth out and she came round from her operation and then started bleeding so much, they had to anaesthetise her again to stop the bleeding. She is curled up on a massive duvet and looking very sad.... lots of TLC needed for this girl - does anyone fancy fostering her?

Oh, that's so lovely to hear - I hope you do keep her as she will be so happy somewhere that she's getting to know already. I'm sure training classes will be of huge benefit to her, it must be hard when their instinct is to chase, that's all they've done all their life and then suddenly we expect them not to!! She sounds gorgeous, I can just see her walking round carrying bowls & buckets - Freda has developed the habit of picking up any shoes that are on the floor by the back door & carrying them either to her bed or the settee - she loses interest in them then!! They are such funny things but so adorable. I hope all continues to go well and she does become part of your family. It will be very hard to take Freda back next week - if only circumstances were different........Good luck & best wishes to you all.

She definitely has the ears of a Top Honcho-she walked with Blue and you could tell they were distantly related-she holds her ears the same way as my Blue. She is beautiful. Glad she has found a homexx Alison & Blue

Nana slept on our bed last night and has been golden at ours. I took to the vets this morning for her spey and they phoned me up to say after opening her up, she was already done 🙁 Being handed into a pound means we have no previous history and there was no evidence of a scar, however, whilst she is under the anaesthetic she is having a much needed dental.

Saw Roo yesterday and she has the cutest ears - very expressive and they tip forward when she's listening to you (just like in her first picture). Cute with a capital 'C' and very, very pretty. Keeping my fingers crossed for the cat test. Mand x

I couldn't agree more Deb. He is sooooo handsome and you're right about his eyes. You can tell he just wants to be home with you. We had a bit of fuss before I had to go, but you could tell he just wanted more! Mand x
