Carrie
Over the Rainbow Bridge
I was rather pleased and proud today when I had a new local mobile dog groomer come round to trim Teddys hair and it was all I could do to stop her taking Carrie home with her , Carrie was just like the best behaved sweetest greyhound ever , Even I would have taken her home .... Oh I already did.....!!!

I just love the photo. They look like they're ordering a couple of pints at the bar! That's definitely one to keep for the notice-board. Mand x

Bess
Over the Rainbow Bridge
We've now had our lovely Bess in our lives for nearly 5 months and we love her sooo much. We are so lucky to have such a loving, well behaved, fun and pretty dog. She has her moments - no dog is perfect! But I wouldn't swap her for anything and having a dog was one of the best things I have ever done. Thanks to Daybreaks for giving us the opportunity of adding this little Princess to our family xxx

PS..... I confiscated all of the toys last Friday night to curb some over-exuberance, so yesterday, Norris discovered the joys of playing with Paul's socks! ....Where has Nervous Norris gone?

Maurice (Sheldon)
Over the Rainbow Bridge
such a lovely evening it was too at the park! Sheldon is getting better on the lead, he still pulls when he gets excited and his ears "POP" up. getting there though, he's still such a quiet dog, quite scared at times too which is sad to see. I will know more by this weekend I hope 🙂 such a loving boy.

I have brought Kirsty home again tonight and she has settled so well. Clean throughout the night last night and very chilled out with our 6 and Red who we are looking after at the moment.

I saw Amber today when she visited the kennels. She is certainly still being a minx and keeping her owners on their toes - I really respect them for sticking with her as she really is a handful - but so very sweet too!

Huggie
I’m Homed
Safety of children is always of the utmost importance, however equally the dog also needs to be protected and respected. I have seen photos in the past of dogs laying asleep on the floor with a child laying across them. We always say that a dog must be respected at all times especially when on their bed or asleep. I am not doubting the circumstances relayed by Huggie's owners but need to reiterate that it is not always the dog at fault.
