Luna is a lovely girl and loves a fuss and cuddle she was very stressed when she arrived at Bark Inn which is understanding but once she had her sausage casserole she soon settled down.

I am pleased to say that Norris doing well despite an eventful week - he unfortunately broke his leg early last week and underwent surgery at the Willows Specialist Centre. He is recovering very well and receiving much TLC from Linda and Paul.

How I wish Fire would go straight to a home instead of coming back to the kennels. He is sooo loving the home life now. Fire has integrated well in a home set-up. He learned the routines easily, can be left alone with other greys (not on his own though as he still prefers company whether human or grey), can sit on command, listens, clean (no accidents), sleeps through the night (and day! lol) and is starting to enjoy what retirement is all about. The fluffy fixation has been lessen but still interest him (most greyhound do anyway) but he listens when you ask him to stop or leave the toy alone. As with his keenness with other dog breeds, it is still a work in progress. I am quite confident he will get bored of them when expose everyday (through walks) in time. The day would come that it will click in his mind that he can be at peace with them. The more exposure to other dogs, the quicker Fire would overcome the keenness over them. As most who work on Fire at Daybreaks would attest, he is very affectionate. It is hard not to fall in love with this big fellow. He loves the fuss, kisses and cuddles. There are a few occasion when he would return the gesture by licking your hand or nose. 🙂 Please if you could offer him a forever home, just let Ruth know. He is ready for his loving family and for him to offer his heart.

I'm not sure from previous posts whether T is offering Joey a permanent home or foster - we are interested in offering him a permanent home as he is just what we have been looking for, but don't want to tread on anybody's toes. Ruth, we will be in touch Joe and Jane x
