Over the Rainbow Bridge
Hiya I enjoyed it ... especially when Robbie got squeakier and squeakier toys out to see which ones Fire thought were tastier than my sausages ... good thing we take this training sssoooooo seriously LOL. This boy is lovely, he was very quick to realise that treats are much easier to get than fluffy toys but you do need to keep reminding him and be quick yourself 🙂 If anyone can bring him to our 9am class on Saturday it would really help him out- Debs could handle him and you could stay with your grey too if you like 🙂 Fire does need some work before he's able to be rehomed so please help him .. you can speak to Ruth on 0121 782 7702 or me on 0774 7754759 🙂 Thank you 🙂 J xx

I haven't posted anything for a while , so I thought Id give an update , I so love Carrie ,she is so precious and delicate , she is getting better everyday , She jumped on the windowsill where I kept Eves and Kevins ashes when I was out a few weeks ago when we had that bad rain( its over four foot high to the windowsill) , which prompted me to move the dogs ashes , 2 days before torrential rain leaked through the window and if she hadn't have done this ,the dogs ashes would have been wrecked , I might just add the word Fate to her name of Carrie Eden , and then theres just the plain and simple characteristics of the breed , the way she stretches , I just love watching her back legs up front legs down ,the way she barks ,I just love her , the hardest part in all of this , is ignoring her when I get home , but doing that has calmed her down a treat !! I could never justify getting another dog other than a retired racer and I so want another to join my soulmate , Carrie

Buddy
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Hi Bella. Forgot to add he also met a big black Newfoundland and he takes no notice of medium to large dogs. WHen he sees cats out on a walk, he'll stop and want to watch them, but doesn't go berserk. 😉

Buddy
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Hi Bella. Buddy went on two walks a day and is wonderful on lead. Just how you want all dogs to be. He has met the following whilst out walking: black labrador (perfect), blue merl Border Collie and choc and white border collie pup, (perfect), Scottish Terrier ( ok, then Scottie growled at Buddy, but Buddy just looked surprised), he's seen a fox and squirrel (very interested) but when I say that, he just gets very alert and pulls a little on the lead, but no spinning, lungeing whatsoever. He did come across a small cream fluff ball, which I can only assume was a dog ona lead, but it was that fluffy, I couldn't really see the head (Pomeranian or something similar I'd guess). I would say anything from Cocker Spaniel size up he'd hardly blink at, but smaller would need some training and socialisation. He loves playing with footballs and squeaky toys, my 4 year old loved hugging him, my two year old kept giving him kisses and he didn't bat an eyelid. If you ended up having him, if you ever want someone to look after him while you are on holiday, I'll do it for you free of charge with pleasure. He loves lying on the floor fully stretched out in living room and will follow you around, he even lay on the floor in the kitchen, but in my small kitchen it made life difficult. All I can say is Super dog that would compliment any family, made easier if no small furries to adapt to. I'll watch this space for more news.
