Hi Ina. Love to hear about Daisy and the boys. Our Emily is the same with Gent, washing his ears usually (what is it about little boys and dirty ears!!!!!), although my face comes under close inspection too if I get close enough. Sounds like Daisy was always meant to be with you and the boys. Hope to see you all soon. Mand, Gent & Emily xx

my thougths are with you, its always hard when you have to let your beloved fur babies go and what you did was the last show of love you could give her by letting her go before she was in pain, such a selfless loving and brave thing to do. much love to you all at this sad time...Ina Rossi Toby McKenzie and Daisy xxxx

A sad day for us as this morning our old lady grey Maggie, the brindle in (M)Arty's rehoming pic had to be put to sleep at the age of nearly 14. She was our first rescue greyhound 10 years ago when she came to live with our two Jack Russell Collie crosses. She was always very laid back and brilliant with all other breeds of dog (I only realised that greys could be a bit funny with other breeds when we got Marty). Maggie was a very accomodating dog and seemed to sense the needs of others , especially when we brought extremely nervous Millie home. When Milly was recovering from her amputation op and learning to walk on three legs Maggie would stop and let Millie lean on her when she was tired. Maggie had lived with a kidney and bladder problem but todays exploratory op showed liver and spleen problems and multiple tumors (from old age) but at least we were able to give her a kind ending before she experienced pain.

a little update on Daisy, she is an amazing little girl full of love and joy of life. She loves everyone and 'mothers' the three big lumoxes by washing their faces and ears every morning, so incredibly sweet. Rossi and Daisy have now decided that they quite like sharing a sofa, Toby is on the other sofa and Mummy is currently on the floor on the cushions typing this...not that the hounds rule the roost at all...we would not like you to think that at all 🙂 xxx in two weeks time we are all going for our holidays to Little Dumpledale and I am sure Daisy will have a wonderful time. She is so much part of our family now that it seems inconceivable that she has not lived here all along....we are very lucky to have her 🙂 xxx

Over the Rainbow Bridge
Hi Jeff, My sister and I started to give our Greyhounds Burns "Pork and Potato" last year and found the amount of poo they produce has decreased a far bit!! It is quite expensive but a very good quality food. You are right about the pyjamas, Twiggy looks so cute in her bedtime coat with snowmen on it!! So pleased to hear Carrie is doing great, hope you all have a good weekend together. Kate x

Lizzie
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Hi Chazat Sorry to hear Lizzie has a heart condition ... my last lurcher had had a heart murmur for many years when it suddenly deteriorated 🙁 My vet said he had only two months - if I was lucky 🙁 I use lots of alternative health products and found Neem Genie's Multi capsules ... they are herbal and safe with Neem (an Indian tree) and Tumeric (the spice) ... I gave Moke two a day and they kept him alive with a good quality of life for another two years 🙂 SInce I've heard of many dogs - and people 🙂 who take these Multi capusles and have felt much better so worth a try. I get them from Dave at Neem Genie - 01547 529277 or he has a website. best wishes Julie PS They're good for arthritis too 🙂
