Mikey was great on his walks today. The lead did not go taut at all - even on the long walk. He ambles along by the side of you, but still takes an interest in everything. His roomy could take a few notes from him..........she knows who she is!

your mum is definatly in love with you she only came for a bag of food for when she comes to bring you home, but ended up sitting on your bed being and having a cuddle, then she took you for a walk and then gave you some more cuddles.(there has been alot of cuddles today!) then shiran came in a told you that if you ever wanted to come back and see her only give her a howl and she'll be right over xx

Not boring at all Jeff, It's easy to become obsessed with this discussion page--I look at it every time I sit down--but what a good thing to get obsessed about! Hopefully it will encourage those who are thinking about homing a grey to take that step. It's also very useful to discuss any little problems and hear others' experiences of dealing with them. Keep writing, especially when you finally get Carrie, not long now.

Have no fear Jeff you are not boring just letting us all know how excited you are to re-homing Carrie. I can understand as I now have to beautiful greys, I had to wait a week to bring Gold home, I ended up going to walk her n would have gone more if itwasn't for pesky work! Luckily we were able to bring Ruby home for a trial period n well............yep she never went back! So keep on posting n can't wait till she goes to her new with you!! x

I feel so lucky to have found her , all the other greyhounds are beautiful , but theres just something about Carrie that says She is meant for me , I just keep looking at her picture and her face just tells me she is my dog , I would love to have her now , but that would be a bit stupid , just waiting for my week off , 2 weeks 6 days !

I have loved seeing Lucy's YouTube clips of her training she is doing so well,a very clever dog.well done Lucy (and well don't foster carer) I hope all this helps you find a forever home soon you deserve it,good luck and keep up the good work x
