Hi Goldie's Mum we had only gone to the kennels for a toe nail clip and food! We asked to take some dogs for a walk which was when we were introduced to Hope and Lizzie, Hope wasn't keen so we just took Lizzie. Ruth then told her story which of course broke our hearts....what can you do? So we have brought her home for some TLC and if all goes well with Bob and our cat.....watch this space. Anyway an update for Today, Lizzie has been wagging and running in the garden and this afternoon she joined me on the sofa and snuggled. This is all new territory for us as Bob is no couch loving hound , he loves to lie on floor or most of the time on his bed. Still not done the cat test because our cat chooses times to come in when all are asleep. She follows me everywhere but seems ok to be left on the half days i have worked and Bob seems less over the top with his welcomes, so perhaps liking the company. Bob has had his first niggle after being woken up by Lizzie, she seems ok with it. Bob does like his sleep.

Jessie is settling in beautifully .... walking, eating, sleeping, chilling and accepting other pets and vice versa and of course cuddles, as if she'd been here for months. Well done gal, long may it continue! Jx

Hello to Brooke's owner whom I met in Abbey Fields today! I was telling you about the enclosed field Parliament Piece where we let our dogs off the lead all the time. There are two entrances - both on the road out towards Coventry from Kenilworth. The first is a gate not too far from the pub the Cross, obviously on the opposite side of the road. The second is a bit further up towards Coventry, near the water tower opposite a wooden bus shelter before the turn to Crackley. It's a huge field, loads of room to run around, not very many other dogs - we've had it all to ourselves sometimes depending on the time of day we go. There is the occasional rabbit and squirrel to chase to add to the appeal! It was lovely to meet you - maybe we'll see you there?

Gotta love this girl! I fell asleep watching tv on the sofa and when i woke up Lucy was all curled up snuggled at my feet sleeping. Aaaw bless her! XXX

This little girl is adoreable,she is sweet and tiny gives lots of kisses and licks and seems very happy.Her new family are very lucky.

Gave lots of cuddles to this girl today who thoroughly enjoyed being groomed and having lots of human contact.She is as bright as a button and seemed to enjoy watching all the blood donors coming in and out of kennels.

Delighted to see that you've taken the step n have now got 2! It's now nearly a month since Ruby(Joan) came to live with us n we love her loads. She's completly different to Gold, much more in your face, literally at times, very confident in some ways but lacking in others. Big sis Gold still has her moments with her but more sharing of sofa's n Ruby has definalty helped Gold with her "not sure bout other breeds" n Gold is there for Ruby with loud bangs n unusual sounds! So all in all we're rubbing along nicely. Hope you find the same, good luck xx

Lizzie had a good night once settled no thanks to Bob who went upstairs and left her. Over night she has learned to go up and down stairs confidently and ended up sleeping with Bob in his area, no grumbles. She has eaten well and been for 2 good walks where we found out she is very nervous of other breeds, Bob on the otherhand loves any canine company so made the walk interesting. We have had a little wagging of tail and a funny five minutes in the garden where she darted about excitedly. She feels much safer in garden, she hasn't weed on any walks! Hasn't really come in contact with our cat yet, keep you posted.
