Wow, Alfie looks a really stunning lad and i'm sure in the right hands he will settle down and become a fantastic family dog. He's obviously a 'leaner' judging from his pictures!

Thank you all for your lovely supportive comments, Logan is settling back in nicely. On the training front its something I am definitely going to do as so many people have recommended it.

Fantastic news. I would just like to say that as a family homing Katy our grey was not straight forward and I have had some anxious times. But all the love and pleasure she gives us (most of the time!) makes it all worth while. I have two children so always have to consider them but we wouldnt be without her. I have found going to training classes (although I can't always make it) of huge benefit as everyone is so kind with loads of knowledge and experiences between them. Time and patience works wonders. I hope it works out for you all. xxx

Well, it's been 2 months since Frankie came home and what a star she is turning out to be. Her personality is really shining through now and she is becoming quite a cheeky minx - she loves nothing better than to torment her hound brother Kev into a play fight! She also loves her cuddles (from both her hound and human companions) and she's really playful - Dave is pleased he finally has a dog that he can have a play scrap with! Visitors are greeted with a very waggy tail and she loves her walks. She's an extremely clever and biddable girl and as a result is a dream to train. So far she has learnt 'down', 'wait' and 'bow', however 'leave it' is still proving tricky when the cats are around ;0) Like any cat/dog household in the early days it means that we have to be uber-vigilant, however it IS early days and I have every confidence that she will eventually learn that the cats are part of the pack and not a tasty treat! Frankie seems to be very happy and settled here and I hope if her previous family are reading this, that they are reassured that she is a much loved and treasured member of our family.

Hello 🙂 is Omani cat and dog friendly? She looks lovely. My family have cats and dogs so would have to make sure she accepts them (and vice versa obviously!)

I'm delighted to say we've got our Logan back! After a very difficult time we were able to re-asses our home situation and make it work for Logan. We were heartbroken during the short separation period and realised we couldn't live without him. Our family feels complete once more. Just wanted to extend our most grateful thanks for all the wonderful help and support from Ruth and all the amazing volunteers at the kennels, our home-checkers Sue and Pete and The Tubb family. Whom without their overwhelming support and kindness, our reunion with Logan may not have been possible. The aftercare through Daybreaks is second to none and I know of no other kennels/organisations where such dedication and kindness is given and its all just a phonecall away.

The family who have homed Tina have already decided that as she has settled in so well, they are not going to adopt Joan as well as they originally planned. She is quite playful but also she is a very gentle quiet girl and being very small I am sure she will be picked quickly x
