What a terrible shock for you all. Glad he was found safe and sound. Poor little thing, with a little patience, understanding and encouragement I'm sure he'll soon learn that he can have the best retirement with all the creature comforts he could wish for in the right home. Hi Suejo, I really really cor wait, worried little as I have not heard from Lin, lady that was going to do home visit, just hope everything is ok. Will be calling in again today to see Dora & maybe take her for a walk. My son is coming to see her & have a look round. Ireally do hope everything is ok.

TG you found him, my Tigger was so nervous the Dogs Trust said they thought they'd never rehome her but she was fab ... off lead, very bright and a real joy - she just needed time and patience like Aimee said Alfie does. These dogs are so rewarding when they start to trust you 🙂 J xx

Poor Joe - he was rushed into the vets yesterday as it appears he reacted to giving blood the previous day. He spent a day on a drip and came home last night..... he is still very quiet but I will take him to the kennels with me today and keep an eye on him x

Alfie was collected from the vets yesterday following his castrate and was taken home by one of our volunteers. Unfortunately he escaped from the car and we spent several hours searching for him. I found him curled up in a garden and apart from a couple of grazes, he was ok. Anyone who adopts this beautiful boy will be dealing with a very nervous nature but he will soon learn to feel secure - he is just absolutely lovely x

Spent some time with Jimmy today...What a beautiful natured boy! SO so loving and very calm and placid. Great on the lead, i wanted so much to bring him home but hes not so placid with cats and i have a moggy. Am gutted, he is perfect and would make such a great addition to any family. My little boy who is 11months old was crawling around his feet for ages and Jimmy just sniffed his lil head and let him pat him and kiss him! Hes brill with kids!!!! We took him for a walk and he was great even alongside the buggy. I hope he gets a family very soon he is perfect!! :))

Well it's November now had pea sing sept, she it a terror, into everything every moment of the day, wouldn't swap her for the world, what a HUGE personality she has developed, sticks to me like glue and rules the roost. I look at her pictures and can't believe she's mine..xx

Seamus was in at the same time as Jack ( when jack was 'choosing' Daryl- his new dad) I was visiting with Daryl at that time for a bit of moral support etc. I got to meet the 'inmates' in at that time. All I can say is it must be very diff for the family, they were so happy to have him. Seamus really stood out as a beautiful, kind, graceful dog- and so good with the children. Another big, soft, gentle, sensitive black lad.
