The owners of Harry took Will on trial yesterday. He was absolutely golden for them, but they were missing Harry too much so Will came back to the kennels. As fate plays a mysterious hand, the foster carers of Will decided they would home him and we are over the moon at their decision 🙂

I am over the moon that Harry's owner phoned today and said the family were missing him too much and they have had him back. We are going to help them as much as possible to help with his issues - which I really appreciate and respect them for as they have had a tough time with him. We are always here for anyone who needs help with their grey....

Sheena is a very lucky girl to have found her way to you and John, she will have a great life. So glad to hear she did not have to lose her leg, it must have been a very nasty injury. My leg is better than it was thanks but like Sheena will never be as good as new....we make a good pair! Let me know how she is getting on. Hope you all have a good weekend. Kate xxx

Well Kate glad you all had a lovely holiday. Sheena will always have a shorter leg and slight limp,( the Vet was concerned that she might have to lose her leg when he first saw her ) at the moment her walks are to build up some muscle she has lost. She has a lovely nature although yesterday when John went to the kennels she was not too happy (maybe thinking she was going to be left there). We are thinking of taking her on some training when her leg is stronger. I meant to ask how your leg is?.Sylv xxx

Hi Sue. It's amazing isn't it how they change and how they become such a big part of family life! Sounds like Sid's giving you lots of happy times which is great. We've just passed our first year with Lena too and that flew by. We're both fine and the girls are fab as ever. Lena has decided to re-write Julie's training manual and now provides entertainment to the class by refusing to do things she could do perfectly well before and just doing her own thing, usually involving rifling through Julie's bags looking for toys! Sounds like you're really busy but we'd love to see you all if you ever get time to pop in. Linda x

Hi Sylv, that's brilliant news! What a very pretty girl. Has she made a full recovery now? Twiggy and I are well thank you; we have just come back from a holiday in Devon. We went with my Sister and her Greyhound Stan, they had a great time together, lots and lots of lovely walks. xx

Hi Linda, can't believe how quick it has gone and how much Sid has changed, he's such a character! Unfortunately we can't get to training on Saturdays now as Samuel, my youngest, has rugby training, we really miss it but hope to pop in at some point to say hi to everyone.Hope you, Paul , Lena and Lola are well. This is a very sad state of affairs. My wish for Suzy is that Ruth can find her a new home as soon as possible once all of the red tape is out of the way. Sending her my cuddle today. xx
