I'm so excited! So many things to see and do! Who is this strange grey I see when I look in the patio doors? I'm just resting after a game of football in the garden (nobody told the family I could play!). They say I've been golden (no surprise there then) Love to my friends

Hope Joey makes a full recovery soon. Such a loving and happy boy when he gets to know you all he needs is a loving and kind hand with a bit of patience. Not sure he is impressed with his bath. x x x

  • Casper (Jim)

    Over the Rainbow Bridge

We have had Jim (now called Caspar) for over three weeks and he has settled in brilliantly. We all absolutely love him. He is so affectionate and happy to be in a home. He has put on weight and loves running in the fields near our house - and yes, he is even coming back when we call him! We feel so fortunate to have been able to home such a wonderful greyhound and having Caspar around has really helped us to cope with the loss of our previous grey. Thanks to all who looked after him at Daybreaks before he came to us. You do a fantastic job! Ruth - we've had him vaccinated but we are not going to forward the bill (didn't want you to think we've forgotten to get it done!)

Female + credit card = trouble!! I was hoping to pick my beautiful boy up today but I've been struggling with a recurring back problem all week. If the back feels up to it, I'll come and get Jack tomorrow but if the back needs further rest, I'll be coming for him next Saturday. xx

  • Emily (aka Nina)

    I’m Homed

It's Happy Gotcha Day for our little pocket rocket today. Twelve months ago we picked Emily up from Aunty Ruth's house. Should have known what a little rascal she would be from the start - she was trying to climb Ruth's stairs only a few days after she'd been speyed and she does like to make her presence known at between 5-6 am every morning! She's bought lots of laughter to all our lives and I love her to bits, even though we are a bit sleep deprived these days! See you all at the Gathering next week. Mand x

Wow, that is a wonderful offer, especially as the insurance companies wouldn't cover his eye treatment. Fantastic to know that wonderful people do exist in this world and that they love greyhounds too !!!!! Big thumbs and paws up to Andre xxxx

It has not been a good day all round.... we now have a poorly Seamus on our hands. I have spoken to Andre the vet who operated on him yesterday and he will be coming home with me tonight..... Joey is now off to stay with the lovely Ray and Val as he is not contagious like Seamus.
