Heartbreaking news was received this morning that my friend who owns Freya, can no longer keep her due to ill health. Freya is a wonderful, beautiful girl. She is sociable to people and other dogs on walks but a little cautious towards unfamiliar men. She walks nicely on the lead but does dance about and shout at the sight of cats and squirrels!!!!

hello Anna, I hope you have settled in your kennel but dont get too used to it because i want you to come and help make this house a home again. Its too empty with no greyhound to meet me. I am being home checked on thursday and god willing, you can come here early next week. Everyone is looking forward to meeting you and giving you cuddles. Im hoping to pop up tomorrow afternoon with a toy for you. Big cuddles xxxxxx

I'd agree with that too. Our big boy is so calm and gentle, compared to our little girl, who dashes around at a million miles an hour. She's only small, but there's no mistaking when she's in residence! It may sound a bit daft, but after a while, you really don't notice their size anyway. Mand, Gent & Emily x

i love the big boys, two of mine are big dogs and they are simply wonderful, gentle loving beautiful dogs...i would not be without them and Paul looks just so handsome and has a gorgeous smile.xxx

Big is definately beautiful when It comes to greys!! My big charlie is much calmer and better behaved than my little handfull fly!! And big means more greyhound to cuddle :o) xxxxx

Hi Sylv, sorry for the confusion about Teddy's leg! Twiggy is still taking the Propalin but we have been able to reduce the dose to just 1ml a day which is good news. She sometimes has a little accident in the night but just a few drops. Her vet is very happy with the improvement; like Mindy, Twiggy also enjoys going to see her vet....has Mindy been to see the love of her life yet today? Kate xx

Hi Kate Hi Kate. When I first read your latest comment I nearly had a shock (I was reading it without my glasses, seeing Twiggy loosing a leg, but read Teddy) thank goodness. Otherwise I take it Twiggy's problems is well under control.(with the help of Propalin Syrup) Poor Teddy. Sylv xxx

Well I had to give my cuddle to Paul because he is definitely of the Gabriel ilk, big loving and friendly. As Michelle said please don't be put off that 1) he is a boy and 2) he is big. My jumbo boy is no more trouble than a smaller dog and can fold up small enough to fit into a single bed with me when required( and those who know me will know that's no mean feat lol) . He is so full of love and personality and so chilled out and I wouldn't swap him for the world and by the looks of it Paul has just as much to give!. If I could have a second dog I would be on my way over right this minute 🙂
