Tat is being a very good boy. Has tried all the beds and sofas, knows where the garden is and the toy basket. Has met the kids, cats and dogs with no problems. Been for a nice woodland walk and then for a run with Jasper the lurcher and Belle and Sam the greys. Ran and played nicely with each other. They all had a yummy pigs ear (thankyou Aunty Ruth), and Tat came for a lovely cuddle and fuss and now is flat out on the sofa ! All this in just 4 hours, he is such a clever boy xxxxxx

Hi Jenni, I love reading Cookie's blog too - she sounds like she is having great fun, apart from her poorly leg :0( Mine are always in the wars which is what happens when they dash around the place at 40mph without looking where they are going - doh, so much for being sighthounds! Em x

Oh Sara, I agree, she is such a poppet - I think she should be called Mary (Poppins) as she is practically perfect in every way!

Oh wow, this boy is just gorgeous! I took him home today to cat test him (and nearly didn't bring him back) and I think with a bit of training he could learn to live with cats. He was certainly interested in my two British Blues (maybe because they were the same colour!) but not in an "I want to eat you" kind of way, just in a "ooh, you look good to play with" way! He was a perfect gent to walk, jumped straight in the car, coped with laminate flooring, great with Sara's non greys, and a proper fuss pot - love love love him! Em x

Oh no, such awful news :0( but there is absolutely no doubt that Maisie had a FANTASTIC 7 months with Deb and her family. I loved reading about how she was getting on, and I can only say another big thank you to them for welcoming her into their family knowing that they wouldn't have long with her, and nursing her back to state where she could enjoy her brief stay with them. Run free beautiful Maisie xxx

    I’m Homed

Tuesday - day 4 in her foster (holiday) home. Flash settled in pretty much straight away and has slept well in a crate for the last three nights. She didn’t stir during the three hour trip to Wales the morning after she came away from Daybreaks. No accidents at all in either the house or the caravan (unlike our two when they moved in). Flash has met and been on walks with some non-greys and has been no trouble at all. What a lovely hound. I hope she soon finds her forever home. In the meantime she is enjoying her holiday and sleeping a lot.

I have just come home to an email with such very sad news. Dearest Maisie ran free to Rainbow Bridge this morning. My love is with Debbie and her family who have given her the best time possible since they adopted her last year at the grand age of 12. Maisie, you were a very special and beautiful girl..... Heaven has just gained another angel xxxxxx
