    I’m Homed

Wizard has been for a brilliant walk through the countryside surrounding Ironbridge with Gracie, Jules and her dogs and several work colleagues. He was nervous and fiesty with the non-greyhound/lurcher dogs at first but calmed down and by the end was much better. He had a lovely day, a big tea and is back to snoozing on the sofa. He is a really handsome fellow.

So pleased to see your update on Olive (as was.) I know what it's like to lose a grey suddenly. It's lovely to see she is being well cared for and hope you have many more happy years with her. Very best wishes, Beryl (ex owner)

Hi Cindy, re Mia's arthritis, my oldie Rosie has it in her spine and has been on Rimadyl for over 3 years which has helped a lot. All of ours have glucosomine every day from the time they arive regardless of age and it really does help. I buy a powder form which includes chondroitin and MSM and put a dose on their dinners. Could be worth trying. Beryl

Thanks for all your good wishes;it is v.likely Rosie will go to the training sessions soon. She has hardly put a paw out of place since she arrived & really is a star.Although we will wait until we have had her a week or so on trial to definitely decide, we do think Rosie has almost certainly found her forever home. Her new hobby is sunbathing. This morning watching Rosie & our other dog, Jet, trying to get next door thru' the plants & fence to play with our neighbour's dog & her squeaky toy really did make me smile! She is a live wire & has certainly jolted Jet back into action after living on his own for several months.

I think a Greyhound pamper event would be great, washing, tooth cleaning, nail clipping, brushing/deshedding (I'm sure there are more)....each person donating for the "pamper" their dog needs...I'll come and help x

How about a sponsored scale and polish? On a serious note, I've just bought a scaler (cost me less than a fiver off amazon) as Moo and Kev's teeth are (were) awful despite regular brushing, and I have to say it has worked wonders! And it's quite satisfying seeing all that tartar coming off - yuck :0/
