Hi. We have 2 girls Lola and Lena and they get on just fine. Lola was with us first and when we went to kennels to look for a friend she rejected the first girl she met (the one we had our eye on) but said a big yes to Lena when Zoe brought her out for them to meet. So we definitely found it's true that the dogs choose each other. They are very different personalities which is really nice. Lola & Lena will be at the Webbs roadshow on Sunday if you are nearby and want to see 2 girls who happily live together.

Sam is fantastic! He is clean in his kennel every morning - which is a bonus as although he has a big comfy bed, he prefers to lay on the floor!

Sally is up and about this morning - toileted outside and then came and lay in the doorway to the lounge! She doesn't care about my 6, Tommy or Mel stepping over her - considering she has probably never been in a house before, she is taking everything easily in her stride....

Hi cinders, I have 4 girls and 2 boys, in my experience they have all equally got on, it depends on the character of the dog, I think you would have to let Mia and Cookie meet and see how they got on. Certainly don't rule out a girl and Cookie is such a sweetheart.

Hi everyone, as we have mentioned to a couple of you we're very much coming round to the idea of getting another greyhound at some point, certainly within the next few months, to go with our Mia (who is the most adorable girl ever!) The general advice seems to be that she'd get on better with a boy and we would like a boy but all the ones we had our eye on e.g Tommy keep getting snapped up as we can't get over to you that often! However, this little girl seems adorable - probably she'll get snapped up before we get over, but out of interest do you think two girls are ok together or would that not be a good thing for Mia? Obviously we'd be doing it for her sake as well as our own as we believe she'd enjoy a companion and she'll have to have a big "say" in which dog we eventually get!!!.. so do you think we should stick to looking at boys only or can we consider girls too? xx

Oh Berry! 🙁 You can have todays cuddle. You really have no luck. Unfortunately, although we're looking for a bigger house we're only renting and not many places like one dog let along two otherwise I'd come and get you. Me and Roxy normally have a long walk in Sutton park on a Saturday though so if you'd like to come to cheer you up then you're more than welcome. And with the long weekend we can spare plenty of cuddles!

This boy is the happiest greyhound i've ever met, his tail never stops wagging (even the vet can't make it stop). He love people and other greys, he always had a girlfriend and likes to cuddle next to them. He can make a you smile even on a sad day. He gives kisses and love for free x x x x

Really pleased for you Tommy xxxx Trying to convince my hubby that we could have another one (but he feels 2 dogs, 4 cats and 3 children might be enough lol) We have had Belle only 2 weeks but she has convinced me at least, that we could have another, and you being cat friendly had my eye xxxx However I am sure you are going to be soooo happy xxxxx

She has settled well and is snoozing happily away..... hope you are having nice dreams of the new home we are going to find for you hopefully soon xxxxx (photo to follow when she feels a bit better)

I am over the moon at Tommy being reserved. My wonderful friend Marcella (who lost her beloved grey Matey recently) has decided she is going to adopt Tommy as well as little Melissa. Tommy sold himself so well when they came to our house the other day - paws on their shoulders - lots of kisses - something he has not done with us! He certainly knew who to sell himself to....... xxxxx
