Finally managed to get logged in! Just a quick update on Mia (Splash). She's settled in so well we can hardly believe it and is absolutely wonderful! Gradually she has worked her way up from her basket .. to the sofa .. to the spare room bed .. to the master bed where she reclines on a variety of pillows and cushions like a little princess! Only slight problem is she has a bit of a bad leg at the moment - it's been investigated once but has been slow to heal so we're going back tonight for another check-up. Otherwise, it's been an incredible experience seeing her settle in and watch her adorable personality emerge. She's absolutely gorgeous in every way - we love her!

Chloe has settled in great, loves to play with all the toys we have for Jack and her and is a cuddle Monster! First day back she told us 3 times she needed the Garden and slept through the night. Jack has been a star, Lets her walk all over him and did not grumble when she nicked some of his dinner.

Dear Sharilu, you are going to have a lovely boy, he is not only beautiful to look at but he is a beautiful boy in and out, loving, gentle and just wonderful. i am sure he will make you and your family very happy and tho he will not fill the hole in your heart after losing your lovely Jensen he will certainly help and make you feel better. good luck to you all, sadly i won't be able to see him go home with you as i shall be at work on saturday. Ina 🙂 xxx

Hi Mutty22jaf, Lucy was homed by a member of the syndicate who owned her as a racer and therefore wasn't homed through the RGT. This is why she wasn't speyed already. In answer to annie - mammory tumours are common in females who haven't been speyed and this is one of the reasons (other than unwanted pregnancies) that they are neutered before homing.

It is a shame when they have to leave the home they love but at least he was returned to kennels, and not turned onto the streets or abandoned; tied up outside a pound. He is in the right place. Hope you find the right home soon lovely boy. x
