Joe
I’m Homed
It was Joe's turn to come and stay with us this weekend. He is every inch as handsome as his photo suggests, with the most beautiful dark ringed Egyptian eyes. But looks aside, what a great character he is too. We had so many laughs and smiles as he came snuggling for affection, he is a very loving dog. He got on fine with Rowan and Gracie and in the park he was no problem at all with the other breeds, including two Yorkies who walked past and a Cocker Spaniel puppy. He was very easy on the lead too. He is a dog who would enjoy company. He was very gentle at feeding time, no fighting or arguments. He took a little while to settle at night but once he was settled he slept through. I gave him a good brushing this morning and he loved it, especially his chest and neck. He has a fantastic coat. It was very hard to take Joe back, he is such a great companion. If he's a little noisy at Daybreaks I'm sure he is just saying 'Please choose me, I would love to come home with you'. Joe, someone will choose you very soon, you are completely adorable xxx

hello! just a quick update on fergal 1 week on! hes settled in brill & is getting on with everyone 2 & 4 legged & is already making a big impression on us! hes learnt his new name already (thanks to lots of treats!). i think this gorgous boy has definately found his forever home!! thankyou ruth & everyone at daybreaks for helping us see that we were ready 2 bring another grey into our lifes after losing our beautiful boy guinness last year!! xx

Hi Sue, we find if the dog has NOT raced, they tend to be much more playful and 'busy' as they are generally younger and have not had the discipline and routine of a racing life. Captain is an absolutely amazing dog and very very gentle and loving - he is one of my special fellas at Daybreaks at the moment x
