Mystic has been really good since being here, Cally has been like a different dog and has been full of life and much happier. There's still some work 2 be done to get these 2 and the cats used to each other but as long as they can tolerate each other then i'm sure Mystic will be able to be a permanent member of the family. Tash, I am sending you and all your family big hugs - I know only too well the pain you are feeling after letting your precious Charlie go but you have done the bravest thing for him. I glad Penny and the other Daybreaks greys got to meet him when he came last week to help do 'other breed testing' and was an absolute star. Big hugs xxxx

Oh Tash I'm so sorry to hear your sad news and it's such a brave decison you have taken. I'm sure you have lots of happy times with your baby to look back on and take comfort that he is free from pain. Buddy's half sister Lola sends you lots of cuddles and licks. I love reading how the greys get on when they are rehomed. We were very much like this with Lola our first. We kept waiting for the bubble to burst as she seemed just too good to be true having read all the material and watched the CD etc just like you. For us it just carried on like this and the storm just never happened. I can't believe we've had her almost 9 months now. Guess some of them are just like that... I wish you the very best of luck with Sally and I hope you have lots of fun and happy times with her. Love from Linda & the girls (Lola & Lena) x

Quick update on Iris, the lump has reduced a bit and she seems well. She has bonded with my other black grey, Shauna, and goes everywhere she does! So sweet.

Yesterday we had to make the awful decision to let our old Spaniel Charlie go, he's the one in the pictures with Penny. He was my first "baby" and today my heart is breaking, I'm having lots of Buddy, Jack and Penny cuddles which is helping and thinking of him running around free of pain in Doggy heaven with all our beloved pets is a comfort. They all steal our hearts in different ways...run free beautiful boy, take care of all the other loved pets up there, 'til we meet again... xxxx

Hi all just to say Sally has settled well being, our first time of living with a grey and we've read all the material and watched all the cd's and prepared ourselves for the worst, we know it's early days but she's eating well, slept all night without a peep and no accidents, walking lovely on the lead and sleeping just like the wife it took us ages to get her out of bed this morning, is this the calm before the storm who know but thanks to you all at daybreaks for your help advice and honesty, will put some photo's soon and look forward to meeting up at one of the walks or training

I agree too Tash. Having spent just a couple of days with this girl I agree with everything that you have said, and she has the advantage of having spent time in Ruth and your homes so will more easily adapt to a home of her own. I would have loved to be able to give her a home myself. She has so much to give, whoever gives her the chance will be very lucky xxx
