just met penny at training again she was an absolute star she met blue and millie,and was great, as she was with all the dogs well done alison for bringing her along.

I am so glad to hear that Ellie May has finally landed on her paws. She is such a gorgeous cuddly girl. We have her son Mick who she shared a kennel with a Bark Inn kennels - she loved and spoilt him (probably the only other dog that could get away with anything with her.) I wish you the best retirement in your lovely new forever home. Maybe we'll see you at one of the events or walks (though probably the less said about our first walk the better 🙂 )

hi James's new owners I am so pleased u decided to take James into ur home. After meeting u the other day I kno that both of u will giv James all the luv in the world. U hav definatly chosen well. James will giv u so much luv in return. by the way the curly dark haired lady is Shiran. she is also so pleased 4 u n James. Over the Rainbow Bridge
We have reserved James today, we met him yesterday and were overwhelmed by his loving & affectionate nature, we can't wait for him to join our family. He will be our first 'grey' so we are looking forward to the journey! Thank you to Daybreaks kennels, Sarah, Ruth (and the curly dark haired helper sorry didn't get your name) for being so helpful and informative and helping complete our home. N x

Just having a catch up, could not believe my eyes Mystic you beautiful boy, you are the boy who made us fall madly in love with Greys, we visited the kennels when we were trying to decide on what type of dog to have, Mystic when he was in originaly was the first hound we met and we fell madly in love ! and decided a hound was the way forward for us ! I had the pleasure of meeting him a few times in the early days when he went to Julies training class and he was an obsolute gent, so very gentle and loving im sure his owner is heartbroken, I so wish our circumstances were different, (just had a major op) I would be up there like a shot and bring him home with us, good luck you beautiful boy hope you find yourself a lovely new home very soon, if your still there in 6 weeks, ill come and get you !! XXXXXX

Thank you for the kind comments Ina. Reuben is doing really well. He is becoming more confident and he gets really excited when we come downstairs in the morning bouncing on his front paws and wagging his tail like a little helicopter. He is relaxed and happy around our others and wolfs his food down at meal times. Exceedingly inquisitive and quite playful. He loves his walks, especially the Sunday walk we did at Sutton Park. He walks like a dream on the lead. We all love him to bits. My dobermann bitch keeps kissing him 🙂 He's definitely found his forever home. Bethan xxx

this is so wonderful to read, she is a special girl and with time i am sure she will not react quite so much when she sees other breeds, never forget that for the first 10 years of her life she has only known greys, it's a lot to take in for her. glad that she will be a permanent addition to your home, i bet you feel better yourself for having a four legged companion again. much love and hope to see you sometime soon, Ina xxx

well it has been 5 days since ellie-may has been with us and it seems like she has been her all her 10yrs. she has settled in so well, she sleeps by the side of my bed everty night and she hardly moves. she is enjoying her walks around blaksley hall twice a day, but she does not like other breed of dogs!. my 2 yr old grandson is still a little bit weary of her only because she is so big, i think she has finally found her retierment sofa and well deserved rest.xx

he is so handsome...looks like a boy i know - our lovely Jake...he was a scabby babby when we got him six months ago but now 'a big glossy coated stunner. They scrub up beautifully!!! Good luck sweetheart...you will soon be in your new home with those looks!! xxx

Hi all, just a quick up date on our lovely Lucy!! She has settled in so well, and the last couple of days has started to come out of her shell and has started showing a little of her personality. Her and Davey are enjoying each others company much more now, yesterday we had no grumbles off him at all!!:-) (instead they've even been licking each others faces!!) Lucy must of been playing hard to get when he visited her at Daybreaks, and she ran away and hid in her kennel!! 🙂 She's lovely, i'd say to anyone who has one grey, that its know different having two, just more love and cuddles and its the best thing we have done!! I'll send some pic's in of her soon!! x
