Maisie has come through her op and is now back at home with us. She is very groggy which is to be expected but seems to be coping well..... I am just so glad the old girl is OK, it is always a relief when they are ok after a big op.

    Over the Rainbow Bridge

Max has been 'visiting' us since Sunday evening and is an absolute gent. He settled quickly and has mastered all of our routines. He hasn't messed and has been fine with Roxy even when being left all day whilst we work. He has shared beds and food and been a real sweetheart. His photo doesn't show how handsome and loving he is. Anyone would be lucky to have him!

Maisie sweetheart, good luck at the vets today. You will feel so much better when your mouth is sorted. Apart from my Angel Sammy boy, no other dog has affected me the way you have. You are so precious, and soon you will be going to a loving home where you will get all the love and care you deserve from the Court family. They are absolutely right, you have melted so many hearts, and certainly melted mine. Thinking of you sweetheart xx

  • Ollie (Vinny)

    I’m Homed

Vinnie will be at Solihull Riding School on Saturday if anyone wants to see the gorgeous lad in person. We had hoped someone out there would have offered him a home, but as we have only had a couple of enquiries since we began fostering him in July and there are so many at the kennels who are desperate for a FOREVER home I guess he may be in the best place for him already, I find it very painful to see the returned Greys so do not comment very often now. Please come and give him a cuddle he is a fabulous dog. Lets hope all the dogs going on Saturday looking for loving homes find them, and Daybreaks can have another day off!!! Jenny xxx

Sheila continues to be a little poppet, such a good girl, curled up at my feet as I type this. Still interested in the cats but definitely getting better.

Maisie went to the vets today. She is going in for her dental tomorrow. They have quoted approx £600 as the work she needs is extensive in addition to removal of a tumour. We are appealing for donations towards the cost of this - if you can help, please give Ruth a call or click the donate button below x
