    Over the Rainbow Bridge

Kite has been staying with us for the week. He enjoyed a weekend in Wales where he had runs on the beach and paddled in the sea. He was very well behaved in the local pub where he made friends with a Jack Russell. He travelled there and back perfectly with my other three greys, George, Jasmine and Jet. He went training on Sunday and Monday and was also really well behaved. He loves playing with toys and a bit greedy with his dinner!! He is still learning to share and take turns with the others. I've been to work all day and he's been fine. He really is a most affectionate boy and bonds with you straight away. Guess he will get loads of cuddles at the show. See you next week. Sally.

    Over the Rainbow Bridge

Sheila(lass) was speyed yesterday, she is absolutely fine, slept all night and has had rice for breakfast, she is obviously feeling better as she is looking at the cats with a gleam in her eye! Sadly her dental work turned out to be too extensive to be done at the same time as her spey so poor girl has got to go back in a few weeks time for that, one tooth did fall out when the vet tried to clean her teeth, so thats one less painful tooth I suppose. She is such a gorgeous girl.

Hi Liz&Murray, great to hear Gypsy is doing well. Please please use the muzzle a bit longer to be on the safe side..... it is still very early days..... As for the fridge opening... perhaps my Foxy gave her a few lessons before she left Daybreaks!

    I’m Homed

Hi Jilly, how lovely to hear that Champ is getting on so well, and that Jack is showing him the ropes, bless him! I'm so pleased that Champ is being a good boy with your cat, but as the proud owner of 3 greys and 2 cats myself, I feel I ought to counsel caution as it is such early days and I'd hate there to be a mishap with the cat. Please forgive me if it seems I'm lecturing because I don't mean to. I really just want the best for everyone, because there have been so many occasions recently where greys have been returned because the RGT advice re muzzling has not been followed. Please keep us posted how Champ is getting on, he's such a lovely boy, and maybe I'll see you all at the dog show :0) Em xxx

Well the first thing she has taught herself is to open to the fridge and help herself to the butter she also picked her favourite armchair after trying out every possible corner including Alfies tiny bed. Alfie and Gypsy are getting on great, within 10mins the muzzle was off. We are very lucky to have her.

Well his first night at the Vaughan's household went very well. They both stayed upstairs with us, Alison blocked off the top of the stairs, they both slept extremely well I think we didn't because we cat napped just in case but there was no need. Champ is totally ignoring Rrowell (cat) to the point that Rrowell is thinking maybe he's invisible....
