    I’m Homed

Clara is doing ok tonight in her foster home, it's so nice to see Perdi with her head up and the pair of them racing around the garden like lunes! Clara is a little too cat-friendly at the moment, but a warning hiss from Mr Darcy did make her think twice before the chase!! She's so much fun and full of beans, will keep you updated on her progress xx

Unfortunately, the Perry Barr Branch cannot enter into unlimited agreements in the way some other organisations may be able to. We may be willing to to cover prescription costs for a fixed term, or to exchange the donation for your taking on veterinary costs related to the known disorder. Each case is different and would be agreed on the circumstances at that time. I hope this explains our position.

Just to let you know Sue, now known as Suzie, has settled in well in her new home with Sophie (from Hall Green) and JoJo (from Perry Barr). She is very happy and everybody's friend.

Lyonell seems to be settling in well. He is definitley a character. Took him to Costa in Solihull yesterday and he behaved brilliantly. Can't wait to pick up Dill next week and reunite them 🙂

Clara was reserved but the family have decided not to have her. She is cat friendly and a very bouncy happy girl.

Thanks, Julie for asking after Brook. He and his new sister Kaiah (Isla on this site) are busy learning new tricks from each other. He is busily showing Kaiah how to play with squeaker toys to best effect and leave them dotted all around the house, how to shred cardboard and paper, how to bark loudly every time he is excited or wants attention and how to do super-fast turns or emergency stops on the lawn, ripping up the turf in the process. In return, Kaiah demonstrates to him how easy it is for her to raid his own food bowl if he is distracted and how to stalk and attempt to terrorise the local cat population (something he doesn't understand as he is cat friendly). They both try to outdo each other when shouting at squirrels and rabbits. He has also had to accept that she is the boss, reinforced by her deep growling whenever he puts a foot wrong. However, he has a laid - back character and takes it all in his stride. I am sure that he loves living with us really!

Hi Gaye, He really is a good boy, bless him. He's havin 2 long walks a day with his brothers and sisters and today we let them have a run together in an enclosed area by us. His appetite is amazing and loves his treats. He just seems to observe the cats at the mo (there's loads by us) but our other 2 greys go mental, in fact they enjoy sitting on the sofa in the conservatory waiting for them to jump up onto next doors gate. Training them to 'chill' and 'ssshhh', sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't! Will keep you updated it you like?

Hi ruth, would RTG cover the cost of check-ups and medication for his condition? Was wondering as I have a hyperthyroid rescue cat and the cats protection cover the cost of his meds and checkup. Would it be the same for Blue?
