A quick update on our new arrival. No accidents in the house yet (thanks Ruth for the head start!) and she's just about starting to respond to her new name. Quiet as a mouse at night. She met 3 mid size dogs in the park this morning and was amazing. She started to whine a bit to start with, but big brother Gent gave a quick growl in her defence and she then decided that she had to meet them to give them all the once over, clever girl!! Emily looked adoringly at the lady with the dogs to get some fuss, while Gent worked out which pocket her treats were in (what a team, perhaps we should rename them Bonnie and Clyde!!). With no encouragement at all, she's already mastered the stairs and got stuck up their yesterday afternoon. Quite a different story this morning when she went up and came straight down again on her own. Gent still stands at the bottom of the stairs, don't think he can quite make out what on earth she's doing! Mand x

Hi there, I've not yet contacted the area co-ordinator to get a placement yet, but St Bernards Rd would be perfect for me as it's only down the road. Is it St Bernards Grange? I would love to go there as my nan was there for quite a while and it would be nice to give something back. Tell them to go to www.petsastherapy.org, then on the main page click on ' Our Hospital/Residential Home would like a Pets As Therapy visit', then follow the instructions from there. Then, I'll tell the area co-ordinator that that's where I want to go! If you have any probs/questions, you can contact me via here or emma@solihullwellbeing.co.uk xxx

My mother's care home have shown some interest in having a PAT dog go in during the day on a regular basis. Who would I put them in touch with? It's on St. Bernards Road.

Hi Amy, Craig, myself and Roxy are heading to Nottingham next Sat and could fit you, your mum and Monty in if you needed a lift. We could pick you up from daybreaks? Or your mum could follow us if she wasn't confident. We have sat nav!! 🙂 x

We've had Monty for almost a year now and couldn't be without him! Took him to Mel Square today and he behaved rather well 😉 Really proud he won a few rosettes at the fun dog show last week, 3rd for most handsome dog, 1st in best movement and 2nd in best 6 legs! We're trying to get to the Nottingham one, just a matter of getting there as Mum isn't too confident about driving there. Really don't want to miss it! Thank you to Pam who's lent us a gorgeous black/orange/silver collar for the show, it really suits him! Hopefully we'll make Nottingham so we can spoil him rotten and go crazy with the shopping! He's come on really well, settled in perfectly and it's like we've had him forever. Still working on a second one, desperate to have Ben or Craig! Would love a black beauty to add to the family, just trying to persuade our dad AGAIN! 😉 Thanks to everyone at the trust again, your hard work is really appreciated and we're hoping to help out more again! Amy, Helen, Monty and the rest of the family x

I am absolutely delighted to read an email from Mike and Elaine who have got Glynn on trial. I have attached the photos and they show how relaxed he is. Just worried perhaps that his duvet is possibly not being enough!!!

So pleased you have been reserved again so soon. I know it's hard not to get excited but try to be a little more careful around little ones. We understand the concern for the toddler, but to be fair you wasn't really given a chance to settle and learn the ropes....best of luck with your new home xxx
