Uh oh, Gent's in the wars. Came home from work this afternoon and he's wagged his tail so much that he's caught it on the door-post and re-decorated the kitchen walls! It looks as though he's smacked the tip, although I can't see the actual cut. I've managed to get him to lie quietly while I pop on some antiseptic spray plaster. The bleeding seems to have stopped, but is there anything else I need to do? I'll keep him quiet tonight, but I don't know how long these things generally takes to heal. Gonna be a struggle to stop him wagging his tail when Daddy gets home from work! Mand x

Hi Ruth, Stan met cousin Twiggy yesterday! He was a perfect gentelman and she was a lot better than I expected her to be. I wouldn't say it was love at first sight but I think given time and patience they will be fine. How could Twiggy resist such a good looking chap like Stan! Kind regards Kate x

Hi there, just a quick update on Ruby, she is doing really well! still on cage rest and only allowed out on her lead, but not on any furniture. Poor Ruby keeps eyeing up the settee!! she is back for an xray 20th Aug. Thankyou Ruth for the loan of the cage. We will return it as soon as possible!xxx

Poor Meg - her owner is having to move to a flat due to health reasons and is unable to take Meg. She has been in a home for almost a year. She is arriving back at Daybreaks on Saturday (24th July). She is house trained but not cat friendly. We hope someone will give this girl a home very soon as she will be understandably distressed being back at the kennels and losing her family.

Sonny my gorgeous boy has been with us for a year now ! time certainly flies, he is a part of our family and is truly amazing, he is loved to bits by everyone, he is my big teddy bear, brilliant with the kids cat and rabbit, We are so blessed to have such a wonderfull boy, im pleased to report he can now get upstairs..Wehey !!, it did take him 9 months to get his confidence and eventually went up with Poppy behind him as if she was shoving him up ! but he now zips up and down and is so proud of himself and loves our bed... and thinks if his head is under a pillow .. you cant really see him ... LOL Thank you Daybreaks for allowing us to have him XX
