I feel so sad when the pretty ones always seem to have a queue of homes waiting for them and others just because of their colour just dont get noticed. I would only ever have a black beauty because of this.

keep fingers crossed that she will settle into your routine, she is bound to be a bit hyper after all her traumas in the past few weeks, it sounds like she does get on with your Preston tho?!. thats the main thing that they like each other everything else will fall into place eventually. good luck with it all. I so agree Sharon, both your Reggie and my Toby were in shocking conditions when they arrived at the kennels and look at them both now, they are stunning!!! i would never choose a dog for his/her looks its always personality first and you can't get better than gentle loving Ralphie boy. good luck angel for finding your special person soon. xxx

Its a little stressful at the moment as she has a completely different temprament than my other grey but hopefully she'll calm down once we're in a routine.

Please see past Ralphs condition if you are in a position to home a dog. He is a beautiful boy bursting to get out, just desperate for some love and TLC. My Reggie was in the same sad state when I had him, he is a stunning glossy handsome bouncy black boy now and it is so rewarding for the owner to watch them transform into the fab pets they are. I have wanted a greyhound black for a few years now, Mom and Dad finally caved in, I picked Zak on the internet. Mom and Dad came to see him on Wednesday, and surprised me by reserving him, I am finally coming to see him tomorrow (Sunday) I can't wait. I am going to buy his bed and toys for him today, oh, and don't forget treats. Can't wait till we can finally bring him home. Hope it's not too long. Hugs and Kisses to Zak. Kris x x x x x

McKenzie and his two brother Rossi and Toby are off on a holiday to little dumpledale farm next week. his first holiday since he has joined our family. he has settled in so well and tho we have had a few problems with other breeds and cats he has settled now and is a lot better. he is a very loving lad and desite being such a large dog he is very gentle, a real mummy's boy who cries when he is not with me when i am in the house. i am very lucky to have him in my life, i love him to bits. his little brother Rossi was adopted before this website was up so he never gets a mention but he is my baby and my first greyhound and he is a very special little man, so now he won;t feel left out, bless him. xxx

Toby and his two brothers Rossi and McKenzie are going to go on holidays next week. he will be going to little dumpledale farm and will report back on wether he likes it or not. he has been such a wonderful boy to have in my life and i count my blessings every day when i see his gorgeous face smile at me when he greets me with a waggy tail in the morning and cuddles up to me on the sofa when i have my early morning cuppa. if you see him like this you would never recognise him as the sad terrified boy he was when he came to the kennels. he is the apple of my eye and i totally adore him. xxx
