We've had a fun week with three dogs and a cat in the house, not to mention the five kids! Kiera is fab. She has started to feel her feet now and is getting cheekier by the day. She is woofing at us and playing with the toys. She loves a cuddle and we get lots of waggy tail and sloppy licks. She is a greedy guts though and tries to eat everyones food, but amazingly, Lady is eating more since Kiera arrived!! It's lovely to see. I think she is very happy to see another greyhound, although she really does love Ebony. Welcome to your forever home Kiera - we couldnt let you go now!! XX

Kenzie
Over the Rainbow Bridge
my precious boy had an accident this morning, he is ok we went to the vet's this afternoon, only bruising and lacerations but it could have been so much worse. the three of them managed to pull me over when they saw either a fox or a cat and Kenzie managed to pull the lead out of my hand as he is so strong. he charged after whatever it was and ran straight into a stationary car. all i heard was a loud thump and then i saw him turn and about to go after whatever it was that he was chasing (it was pitch black so i'm not sure what it is they saw) i shouted 'Kenzie no come to mum' and bless his little heart he turned round and came straight to me. i could have cried with relief. he was bleeding and was on three legs but he was ok and with me. i got him home and bandaged him up and then took him to get checked this afternoon and he is fine, needs to rest for a few days (that will be fun!!!). i would never have believed that after such a relatively short time with me he would just stop chasing something furry and respond to me and i am just so pleased with him that he did. had that been either Rossi or Toby i would have had no chance of getting them back as they will not respond when they are mid-chase. GOOD BOY Kenzie, i love you to bits and am so happy that you are ok. xxxxx

Toby says that he thinks Joe will look handsome with his lovely new collar and that the lady from the greyhound store is really generous and kind to just let him have it because he is such a special boy, which figures of course as it is his little brother after all!!! Toby and Rossi and Kenzie and their mum Ina xxxx

Glad to know that Joe is continuing to be spoilt and well enough to have a new lead and collar. Nice to read to that someone out in the big world also has a generous heart like Ruth!

How is Tammy with small children, and small furries ? No cats here, just bunnies outside. Will have to pop over sometime to see you and the greys. The good thing about us being patient in looking for another grey is that Josh is now growing up fast and he has a better understanding of what is happening around him. Whenever he sees greyhounds on the website he always shouts "Goldie ", so he hasn't forgotten her.

I contacted Greyhound Products UK (www.greyhoundproducts.co.uk) to order a lovely new red collar and lead set for Joe. Following delivery I contacted them to make payment and I was very touched when they told me there was no charge! Thank you Nikki - Joe looks great with his new collar and lead xxx

Kira has had two nights with us now and has already settled into a routine. No problems through the night and lets you know when she needs to go out to the toilet. She's a little darling!

Hello Ina (Kallie) - don't worry - she is not being returned..... she has been very fortunate to have a wonderful trainer/owner who took her home following her spey and this is where the photos on greyhound data are from.
