Hi Francey, we have a male Grey and a big pudding of a cat who live together and even snuggle up together to sleep! apart from the initial couple of days of arriving home with him when our cat told him off by hissing, we have had no other bad words between them. Go on have a Grey, you may have to wait a bit longer for your special boy/girl who is cat friendly but they are worth it X !

Hi Francey I have 2 cats and 2 greys and they are a happy little gang! My cats are house cats so they had never even seen a dog before, but they coped remarkably well. The boy cat took to the greys straightaway but the girl cat hid and hissed at them for the first few weeks...she's still the boss now! My 2 greys have always been really well behaved around them. They are not bothered by anything small and fluffy (or feathery!), unless it is a squirrel - in which case they go barmy! Good luck! Em x

Hi Ruth and co, you may remember me from a while back- i helped my mom-in-law pick out Paris and Woody in september. I'm the girl who wants a Grey but has 2 cats and worry that they wont handle it well! rosie looks absolutely beautiful by the way. Has she been cat- tested by any chance?Anyone out there have tales of cat and Grey harmony to cheer me up ? By the way,Woody and Daisy(new name) are doing great. Spoilt rotten!!

message for goldie, please don't let the size put you off, out of my 3 greys the most gentle with children is the biggest boy who is nearly 40kg and very tall - my smaller boy is far too lively and he'll knock anyone flying... just because they are big does not mean that they are not careful. Harry is so very gentle and he is a big softie. xxx

Fantastic name ! the old ones are the best, cant imagine having a Grey called Clanger though..... LOL Good luck with her, they are really good with the little ones, our big boy is so gentle with our young son its as if he knows he has to be more gentle around him than he is with my teenage lad ! who when together playing foorball is quite a sight..... ! X
