Same as jetlucy use the donation as you think fit every bit helps, I was too far away to help with the search for poor Bez but have been in floods of tears all week. I have hugged and cuddled my two so much this week even they are looking at me oddly.

The bangers are back! Noooo. Poor little old me. I just hate them. I hope they go quickly. Such sad news about Bez us hounds don’t deserve an ending like that. So sorry for everyone involved. You all did amazing and you couldn’t have done anymore. It reminds me of when I escaped. I am a bit of an escape artist aren’t I. I was very fortunate to have been found and I’m very thankful. So sorry for Bez and we will certainly make a donation. My humans left me to go on holiday! While little old me was alone. Thankfully it was only for 6 days. I may have got a little too excited when I saw them again. Hehe. Florence has left me aswell. Nobody to play with now. Daddy and Samantha are trying their best to convince mummy to get me a brother or sister. Not working though. See you all soon! Barney xx

I have been so upset by the passing of Bez. I never knew her but no old girl deserves such an end She has been on my mind constantly. She must have fought so hard to manage to stay alive for so many days in such bad conditions. I see an investigation is under way. I so hope there are answers found so we can understand and for her sake. My eyes now close as I drift away It was not meant that I should stay I tried so hard because I loved so much But I could not live without a human touch. Then I heard them calling me from a peaceful place So over a bridge I started to race I was met by lots of old friends and everlasting peace Don't be sad good people for me it was a happy release, No more fear no more pain Just back at last with the angels again. For Bubbles God keep her safe in your arms forever. xxx

2019 Daybreaks Diary!

A very somber day, we are all stunned by the sad passing of sweet little soul Bez; I was personally convinced she would be found safe and sound. Peter and Alison visited the kennels this morning to bring back her personal possessions and to lay flowers in the small remembrance garden. Xxx If anyone would like to make a donation to help with the cost of Bez's cremation you can call the kennels on 0121 782 7702 and make a donation by card or click on any of the dogs looking for a home and use the donate button on the right hand side of the page, under the Photographs. Xxx We did have a lot of visitors to the kennels today and a couple of very promising adoption enquiries. 🙂 Teddy shared the kitchen with several other Greyhounds for the day. He throughly enjoyed himself. Xx Thanks so much to everyone for their help today, so kind of you. I know our dogs enjoy the extra company and tlc . Xxx
