2019 Daybreaks Diary!

Whoooo what a busy day!!!! The canine massage team were in and all the inmates had a lovely time with the team. The few that didn't have the massage went on a short walk due to the heat. I saw Bounty and Rosie off to their new homes and the lovely Sam is going to go out to foster on Tuesday. We had 3 lovely new arrivals - Jet, Pebbles and Raven and we have 3 more new arrivals tomorrow. After falling badly this morning, I am hobbling my way off now with massive thanks to Andy and Alison who helped today and Michael and Angie who came in this afternoon to help with feeding. What a great day!!! x

Can I add my plea for Horsey also. Everyone at Daybreaks seems to love him. Maybe people are put off by his size or because he is a black boy (you know my thoughts on Black boys LUV EM) but why not foster him and give him a chance, and if it works out (as I feel it would) I will personally buy the adopters a FFP tee shirt. Cannot say fairer than that. I wouldn't worry about his walking habit. I had the same problem with my hubby, when we met, but as soon as I got him home he was trained to go where I wanted. lol xx for Horse

Please will someone give our Horsey a chance?! He is a special lad and has so much love to give. He really does act like a horse when he gallops out of his kennel for his breakfast in the mornings 🙂 Yes, he can sometimes be more of a Mule when he decides he doesn't t want to walk anmore; but it might just be he is fed up of the same old walk up the lane. 🙂 He has real charm and character and he would be sure to add a "giddy up" to your life! Xxx

I took Sam to the roadshow at Mell Square yesterday. He travelled very well and settled quickly. On the lead he is obviously a sturdy dog, but had no issues with pulling even when he spotted small fluffy things and children. Although an empty packet of Doritos blowing in the wind seemed to catch his eye. During the roadshow he met lots of children and was very friendly. From spending just half a day with Sam I can say he would be a great addition to any home. Good luck sam!

Yesterday I noticed how grey Jatos eyebrows are - and have looked back at her photos on here and if it wasn’t for wonky ears you wouldn’t know her - must be stress full living here!! I will try and send an updated photo ,She is so nosy if she sees a camera or phone out all you get is up close of her nose where she is “looking” Breeze smiles and poses so have more of her. Xxx

2019 Daybreaks Diary!

What a great day for our girls! Annie went home, Pip went out on "Foster" and Bounty and Rose were reserved!:)) Fantastic! Xxx After a Girly Saturday we could do with a lads Sunday! Please come and meet our very handsome young genetlmen waiting to find forever homes. Xxx Ricky took Sam out on a roadshow to Solihull today. He was brilliant with children and other dogs, big and small! We had a lot of help today so the dogs had two lovely walks. Thanks so much to everyone. We have three more new arrivals tomorrow and another threee more on Monday too. :)) Xxx
