What a glorious Spring morning it was- the Minnie Moose and I made our way to the kennels in fabulous sunshine. The boys & girls were happy to be out and get there coats off for a while, and let the air get to their skin! Newcomer Sasha is such a cute little girl, quite lively and bouncy but then she is a youngster. Minnie had more kisses with the handsome Magic (good job he is soon off to his forever home!!). Wishing you all a Happy Easter and hope you enjoy your celebrations - the diary is understandably quiet for the weekend but you never know……. Cheers one and all. Angie x

Over the Rainbow Bridge
Lorraine, I am so very heartbroken to hear of Big Al's passing. He shared part of the line of Sarah Scare bear (Ballymac Sarah). You gave him the most wonderful home and life. He will be running fast and free at Rainbow bridge with all the hounds who passed before. I remember when you told me that he was off lead and you were calling Al, Al and someone thought you were shouting help! You told me that you then used to call Alberto!! Thinking of you, much love Jo and the gang. Xxx

Happy birthday to our wonderful boy Sammy (and to his sister Cassie) We have special treats lined up for this littel pocket rocket. He's a very happy lad, his favourite past time at the moment is his excavation work on the back lawn. He is currently working on hole number three, very proud of his work he gives me a big grin as the dirt flies up in the air! Never a dull moment with him, he's ready to play all the time and he loves everyone and everything. Its birthday muffins at lunchtime and later on special dinners too xx

Over the Rainbow Bridge
Al (Ballymac Albert) 01/04/2011 - 02/04/2023) Lorraine called today to tell us her beautiful Al has gone to Rainbow Bridge. :(( After a short illness he passed away at home the day after his 12th Birthday. Xxx xxx Al was a very special lad. Fostered by Lorraine and her family after he was returned from his previous home because he was frightened of the family's Yorkshire Terrier! He fitted right in with her three cats, three dogs and two sons! Unable to resist Al's charms, she became a member of the Failed Foster Parent Club. :)) Al had a wonderful, happy life. He was a frequent visitor to the kennels when Lorraine came in to help and loved going in the sand run with Norah, Jess and Sunny. She says he was the sweetest, gentlest Greyhound, she adored him. Xxx Sending lots of love to Lorraine and her family. God Bless your wonderful Alberto. You can be sure Sara is at Rainbow Bridge looking after Al, Norah, Jess and Sunny for you. Xxx Kate, Skip, Lyra and Cracker Xxxx

Truf is a little character, she's a playful girl and fabulous on the lead. She is always up for a cuddle and really makes me chuckle as she spends a lot of time upside down with her legs in the air in her kennel. She will be a ray of sunshine for somebodys home x

Jaz is doing great in her new home. Her new Dad has been bringing her and his three other Greyhounds in to use the sand run every week. They love it and all get on so well. :)) Her new Greyhound Brother, Samson has taken her under his wing and is looking after her. :))) Xxx
