Oops, think I might have been a little bit naughty! Mom made me say sorry too Rosa.... I went into Rosa's bedroom and found found a pink and white saggy old cloth cat on her bed, she didn't seem to be interested in it and I liked the look of it so I picked it up, took it to my bed and used it as a pillow, how was I to know that was a no no? I'm not an expert on strange behaviour but it may be a territory issue. Try asking your daughter to call Ashley to her for some fuss and when he allows her to do this give him a reward. It's just an idea. x

So very sorry that you have lost your lovely lad. I know how hard it is when they have to leave us but you obviously loved him so very much. Be proud of the life you gave him and hang on tightly to the memories of happy times. Run free Alfie without pain and with all our old friends xx

It was great to see Sara and Louis today :)) Sara did look well! She was finally able to see the bench she bought in memory of her lovely lad Charlie. I know she is so grateful to everyone who made a donation towards it. :)) Laura brought her lovely Labrador, Arlo in again today. This time he met Nick and Rory. They were both great with him. 🙂 Stella is a very sweet girl. A little bewildered at the moment but she ate her breakfast and dinner and Andy gave her a bath this afternoon. Angies painting job looks great! A coat of white paint certainly brightens things up! 🙂 Lovely to see Jo and Willow today. It seemed strange to see Jo with only one Greyhound on her arm! :))) We also had a visit from Gorgeous Sandy, who is now called Isla. She looked great! Thank you so much to everyone for all your help today. Sending big hugs to Ruth and to Lucy tonight, hoping they both feel better soon. Xxx

Love the picture of the boys in the car...may I ask how you keep your car so clean with pooches in? A pig sty would be neater and cleaner than mine! Good luck boys keep up the good work! Xxx

Mom loaded me into the car on Friday and we were driving for hours, I thought we might be going to see the 'no longer lumpy but of land' but no. We've come to see uncle Robert, auntie Natasha, Rosa and Acer the boxer in East Sussex. I can't run round on all their land because of what the man in blue (shudder) said, which is not fair, but I have seen lots of bunzies! Lubs to you all especially Alfie's family. Florence xxx

Thanks to all who are working with them. They are no worse than Maisie and Monty were when they came home. Look at them now, all sorts of doggie friends small and large, and Off lead too. Just needs patience and reassurance and they will blossom into fun loving pets .

Roy and saddle had a fab day out to the park! Saddle is improving lots and he is now okay with larger dogs as we had many of those off lead come running up to us. We’re slowly working on the smaller breeds as these are the ones who excite him the most! We managed to walk past and have lots of other breeds walk past us with only saddle only looking at them but making no noise so there are slight improvements! I’m sure with the help of volunteers this lovely lad will soon follow his brothers idea that we don’t have to get too anxious about other breeds and he can start making some doggy friends 🙂 xx

What happens in these cases? She is marked so I assume the trainer can be traced and asked about how Stella came to be alone on a country road.

I am so sorry for you. It’s such a painful loss. When Keano died last year I could not tell anyone because I couldn’t get the words out. One of my dear sons, who were both with me and Keano throughout, rang Kate to let her know and she was so kind. You are in my thoughts and prayers, love from Carol xx

    I’m Homed

I took Saddle to Elmdon Park yesterday to do lots of direction changes again to stop him pulling, and to give him more experience of being near other types of dog. He steadily improved through the time we were there, although still needs more practice. We met some large German Shepherds who were very loud and excitable and Saddle didn't bat an eyelid. He was more interested and reactive seeing smaller dogs and seemed anxious, but if we kept walking past them he coped much better, and we then stopped a few feet further on for me to gently stroke him and praise him, and he stood still for me and was much less reactive. He was definitely better with the other dogs than when I took him out with Roy 10 days ago, and he looked better today in photos that Jess took in the park today with Roy and a staffing sized dog. Onwards and upwards Saddle xx
