Whilst waiting for everyone else to be ready for the walk this morning Winny decided she wanted to check out the pool, and boy oh boy did this cutiepie have fun, splashing and proceeding to give me a shower in the process... so wish I'd have had my camera on me to capture her as she was absolutely in her element! xxx

As you know I am limpet, mom and TC took me to see a man in blue (shudder) today. He thinks the problem is my toe and might be Auntie Rightus (will she bring me treats like my other aunties do?) I have to go back next week to see the man in blue (double shudder) he is going to look at my blood - think that sounds very boring for him, and I will see Ray who will look at my bones. Till then I have to have limited exercise :-(. Lubs to all, Florence xxx

I wrote this in 2010 dedicated to Ruth and all volunteers at Daybreaks RGT. I hope you all read it again, especially when you have a sad day and it's hard to cope. It is titled A story of love What would we be without you? You are our light in the darkness When others forsake us you are there Where would we go? Who would love us enough to care? You are there to ease our our pain When we are frightened and alone You calm our racing hearts. If we are old or ill you will not desert us You are with us at times when others find it too painful. Even though your heart is breaking to, you are strong for us And if "Rainbow Bridge" beckons We know you will show us the way, as we sleep before the journey begins You are our mother, our father, our friend, our salvation, and we love you. from all Greys everywhere Thanks guys.

So sad for you. We feel such pain when we loose a beautiful Grey.I always console myself with this saying I read from a dog rescue abroad "When I die let it be as a pet and loved", I think that is what all we Hound owners give to them when we re-home a Grey and Wilf I know was a well loved pet. Run free lovely boy x

Loving tonys stories! Think greediness just comes with the greyhound territory! We think jet is a bullmastiff cross as since we've had him has developed drooling at the table...big long drools down his face...it's delightful at the dinner table! Xxx

Well having finally got some breakfast which Tony didn't spot I thought I fancied a piece of wholemeal bread with ginger marmalade, unfortunately for me so did he.LOL Oh well Ces't la vie. Just been out to water my patio pots and see Tony has done them all for me !!! Now fast asleep dreaming of MY next meal no doubt. Bless
