Miss Kat Von Dee left us very suddenly on wednesday it was very hard to say goodbye after 6 1/2 wonderful years she was fiesty to the end but she has joined the rest of our angel dogs at the bridge god bless sweet kat xx

Joe was a very special lad and an integral part of Daybreaks. He was often at the kennels and loved nothing more than to snuggle in a bed in the office. Over the years he has been great with every Greyhound Ruth took home and that's a lot! 🙂 He loved his routine and made us smile when Ruth used to say he lived in Joe-Joe Land Xx He had to put up with a lot of health issues over the years but he loved his life; but more than anything he loved his Mommy. Xx Sending lots of love to Ruth, Andy and Foxy. God Bless your beautiful Joesph. Fit and well again and having fun at Rainbow Bridge. 🙂 Kate, Skip, Fletcher and Lyra. Xxxx

I’m Homed
I am sitting in my basket with a very wet face! Why? Well mom and TC popped out this afternoon, when they got back they put the dog crate up and a small feline furry called Maud appeared in it. I am so excited, I have asked her to play, she hissed at me and I keep shouting out loud - so mom sprays me in the face! Apparently she was a stray and would have had to cross the rainbow bridge if nobody had had her, so I've got to be nice to her and then if we all get along maybe she can stay. Florence xx

We are so sad to hear of Joe's passing. Adopting one our beloved hounds isn't just having a dog,its like adopting a special angel and they don't come much more special than this lad. Greyhounds get into your very soul and its so hard when we have to say goodbye. Run free Joe, will miss seeing your kind and gentle face at Daybreaks xx
