The things we do for our houndies - I am just going to give Archive a bed bath followed by a coconut oil massage. When he came home he had pressure sores, and he was suffering from diarrhoea which meant he had sore skin all had to be washed and dried carefully, as he is on blood thinners it's a good way to keep an eye on bruises etc. - not to me soon over last couple of days he has water infection being a boy with wobbly back legs he has had to find a new peeing stance - sometimes one of his front legs gets in firing line, less and less, but he is bit smelly. Xxx

I've fallen for this beautiful boy but sadly it is not to be as we have a cat and a small dog - both lived happily with our greyhound until he travelled over rainbow bridge a few weeks ago. Wishing Ruby Rebel a very happy future in his forever home. xxx

Happy 1st official Gotcha Day to our crazy baby Peggy! She’s made us laugh and curse and everything in between in the last 12 months! She’s always under our feet especially when she suspects food might be in the offing so she’s been stood on more than I care to mention! However she’s also brought so much laughter to us after the sadness of losing Lola. Peggy is a complete clown, a goon who has not read the manual of how to be a lazy Greyhound! We love her to bits and wouldn’t swap her for the world..... honest!!! We bought the girls a beef knuckle bone at the weekend so there’s a few more gnawing sessions left in those and she and Lena celebrated with a trip to the vets tonight as Lena has gashed a pad on her one good leg and Peggy had her vaccinations! A real treat especially when she screamed at the vet! Well done Peggy-doodlebug at least you read the section about the Greyhound Scream of Death! I think you can stay another year! Love from mum dad & big sis Lena xxxx
