Ruth, you really do sound like an angel, what would these hounds do without you?! And sorry, but Andy, I'm loving the fact you needed matchsticks and probably didn't grumble that much as you're so used to putting up with us women and their obsessions with making these animals happy...my husband feels your pain lol! Thanks Shani, he knows it too. He is a bit fed up as normally on gotcha days and birthdays they all get fish and chips from the chip shop, but as it is Willow pillows gotcha day on the 11th Jan, they will have to compromise and celebrate with Sarah scare bear and Flloydle boydle for tomorrow. Last year I had my beautiful Stevies gotcha day on the 8th January, sadly we lost him in April, so we had 3 gotcha days in the same week (chip shop was sooooo happy, lol).xxxx

Got so excited this morning. Mom said we were seeing uncle Ian and Barney! When we met auntie Deborah came as well and Barney and I had a little kiss!!! We ran round together and played, it was so much fun. Can't wait till next time. Florence xx

I LOVE this little girl!!!! On arriving back from the vets, I took her home but kept her separate from Joe, Foxy and Sally as she has a history of being very grumpy with othes - even with a muzzle on, I thought it was best! Although initially settled, when we went to bed she became quite unsettled and after an hour I gave up and went and slept on the sofa with her so Andy could get some sleep. However, this resulted in Sally becoming unsettled - I guess with a new visitor and me being in a separate room, she couldn't understand it. Anyway - my night was great.... 6 hours of settled sleepy cuddles with Princess Vera and this morning, although muzzled (as I don't quite trust her yet) she is less grumpy. She has been wandering around with Sally and has been told off by Foxy and didn't react! (Andy unfortunately due to Sally being unsettled has been supplied with matchsticks to keep his eyes open today....) I am going to keep Vera at home as I believe she will learn to live with others - hopefully giving her a better chance of finding that home we are desperate for her to have. She has been at Daybreaks since September and she has so much love to give and is a very clean girl Fancy coming to see Vera or Sally?.... Give us a call at the kennels please - Ruth 0121 782 7702 ps it was so lovely to see Barney at the vets last night xxxx

I would love to have a play date with Flloyd. We could meet at the sand run one weekend when my paw is fully healed. I will speak to Florence and let you know at some point! Xx

Barney, remember how I said that you and Flloyd should have a play date, just wondering, but sounds like you may be very local to us. Let me know, and when your paw is better we might be able to meet up in the sand run with Flloyds bruvver and sisters, and we can see if Florence can come to. Xxx
