Jonny came with me into Solihull for a road show today. He jumped in the car easily and travelled very happily. I parked in Brueton park and so he got to have a stroll through the park beforehand. He meet several small dogs and wanted to say hello to all of them. One French pug didn't appreciate his friendliness and told him off! Jonny couldn't reverse quick enough!! Once in Mell Square he behaved impeccably and was a great advertisement for his breed. He lapped up all the fuss and attention and tried to go home with several people! It was a pleasure to take him out. Fingers crossed that he's in his forever home by his birthday x

Oh what a lovely letter Benny, I read it just before going shopping this morning, big mistake. I cried, my mascara ran and I had to go out looking like Alice Cooper. I'm sure Santa will do his best to get you what you desperately want for Christmas xx

Dear Santa There is just one item on my Christmas list....what I want more than anything in the world is a forever home of my own. x I am a good boy and through no fault of my own find myself still living in kennels even though I am nearly eight years old. 🙁 I have been told I am a handsome lad and I get on so well with the girls, I am the perfect genetlman! I have also shared my kennel with another boy and we got along just fine. I have so much love to give, I just need to be given the chance to share it with someone special. I know you are really busy this time of year, but if you could spare some time to help me find my perfect home I would be so very grateful. .....If you could manage a comfy sofa too that would be fabulous! 🙂 Yours in ever hopefulness. Well so sad to bring this lovely hound back to the kennels. But it was always the plan and having 2 dogs right now is just not quite right for us.. Benny is so lovely and chilled so nicely as the time went on.. he and Febe were zooming around the garden this morning. So nicely and as soon as I called them, they both stopped and went back inside..it was fun to see him enjoying himself with her.
