Hi Melysa Sorry to hear Charlie Mouse is having a problem with his food and tummy. I use Skinners Trial and Maintenance and Skinners Muesli mix, I alternate between the two and seems to agree with all of mine! Hope this helps. Jo x

How strange, we always feed Burns to our Greys Dexter & Jack, but this last bag of it has been different, it takes ages to soften and Dexter had been off for a few days, he has had diarrhoea and was sick at the weekend, maybe the Burns??????

My Archive is a faddy eater - he will eat something for a while then just stop - burns he wouldn't touch, but all three of mine are now on Tails.com diet and they are great on it when Jato came to us we switched her and she looks great, we have had to put her on a diet as she is a little porky !! Even our vet asked what they eat and has switched her dog over. X

Now, we've always sworn by feeding Burns, both CM and Star are great on it and they especially loved it when it increased in size! However, just recently, they changed the size back and have changed the recipe (Sam says it now includes an increased maize content). This has been horrific for CM - chronic diarrhoea for quite a few days now and Star has been pretty loose (sorry!). We have been reading up on this and it appears quite a few dog owners are having the same problems. Could anyone advise or recommend an alternative greyhound kibble please? Jo, I remember you mentioning one? Thank you x

Sarah
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Well today marked a milestone. My Sarah Moo Cow gave her last blood donation to the Pet Blood Bank, as next week she turns 9 and has had to retire:(. She has donated a total of 8 times, potentially saving 32 dogs, I am so very proud of her. She also received a lovely retirement gift from PBB of a kilner type jar wrapped in red ribbon full of gravy bones. She will now pass the gauntlet to new boy Flloyd. Well done my Moo Cow, love you loads, so pleased you have made such a fantastic contribution to other needed hounds. Please if you have a hound who is wrong or more, please consider letting them donate, they get a full health check by a vet, just remember this is how Tommy's heart condition was diagnosed. Xxx

I totally understand now why when adopting a dog we are asked if we are having any building work done, we have had Jess nearly 4 months now and she is still terrified of bangs and bumps, neighbours have had some work done the last few days and Jess has found it really stressful we have done everything we can think of to help her, the best thing we found was her sitting in the birdroom at the bottom of the garden with me watching my birds so much so she decided to carry her food bowl down there without spilling a drop lol clever little thing, thank fully work should be finished tomorrow x

Today has been very exciting! However in the morning I was busting for a wee. So I decided to make a lovely puddle while my sister was about to put the lead on me. I ran to my bed after because I was scared I was going to get in trouble. I thought my mummy and sister was going to shout at me but surprisingly they didn't. They just sprayed the floor and stroked me. I don't know why but they never shout at me. A couple of minutes later my sister went to school I thought she left because she was angry, I was watching through the window then she smiled at me and walked off. Around 10am my dad arrived from work, I was the most excited I've ever been. I tell I lie I was just excited because I knew I was finally able to go out and do a poo that I was busting for. Then my dad went out again I was very confused because he just took me out and then left. I saw his car go so I just layed down in my bed and slept. An hour later I heard a car door. It was daddy, he was carrying lots of dog food. He came in and put the food down I went up to it because I thought he was going to feed me but instead he picked it back up and took it upstairs. I thought that was a bit unfair and very greedy of him to have that food to himself. I also saw Florence and Klaire today that was very exciting. Couldn't wait to get out of the car. What an exciting day! Barney xx

Benny has an appointment with our vet tomorrow. His leg is still causing him a lot of discomfort. 🙁 He couldn't go for a long walk but we had a gentle stroll around the sand run. Xxx

Now into week 6 and Gracie is still being an angel. She comes when she's called as long as she's not too busy. She did draw the line when the organ started at harvest festival and started to heckle the vicar, who was very understanding and says we can try again next year. Today our big cat decided to use her as a step to get to his dinner and she didn't move although she did look a bit shocked. Grumpy cat still has her moments which is a shame but we remain hopeful!
