Dazzle (Azza)
I’m Homed
Although Dazzle stayed at the kennels over Christmas, he has had a great time. Christmas breakfast and Christmas dinner on Christmas Day, a stocking filled full with treats and toys. Walks in the park and lots of company. Our New Year wish for Dazzle is find his forever home. He is a super lad who would love a nice quiet home where he is the only dog. In the right home, he has the potential to be a fabulous friend and companion. Xxx (Kate)

Carrie is settled in well - having lots of fuss and play times in her foster home! Such a loving, funny, cheeky little one. Full of confidence at home. Nicely met some new doggy friends. Getting braver on walks and enjoying a wander in the quiet spots next to the woods.

Thank you so much to everyone who has sent our lovely Greyhounds food and treats for Christmas. So very kind of you. Xxx A big thank you to all the staff at the Solihull branch of Paragon Bank. We were very grateful to receive lots of treats and toys from their Christmas Box Appeal. Bob was more than happy to help to check the contents of the boxes!! :)) Xxx (Kate)

We want to leave this beautiful baby a comment, as she doesn't have one yet. We are beyond excited about seeing her again at the weekend and, even if it doesn't work out with us, we think she is an absolute darling who is so deserving of a good home. Lots of love to Carrie, we'll see you soon xxx

Hi, would Bob be OK with being left at home alone (provided he gets a good amount of exercise before and after)?

Christmas came early at Daybreaks this weekend. Our lovely long time supporter Phil, his friends and colleagues got together and sent us a fantastic delivery from Iceland....infact, it was the biggest order placed in the West Midlands this year!! There were sixty plus bags full of goodies for us to unpack. I think we had their whole stock of hot dog sausages, dentastix and Bonios!! The order also included treats for the volunteers too. :)) We are so very grateful to Phil for organising it and to everyone who contributed including, all the lovely people from Sertec in Witton and Tyseley, ITS, The Royal British Legion, HIAG, and the wonderful Tom from Iceland! THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!! You have made our gorgeous Greyhounds very happy! Xxx Xxx (Kate)

(Podge) Patrick
I’m Homed
Two weeks ago, we got to bring home the wonderful Patrick from Daybreaks! He’s now called Podge as my boyfriend Patrick was a bit worried about potential confusion. 😅🤗 He has been so brave ~ the world is so scary to him with him being such a shy boy, but he’s getting there! Everyday we get to celebrate another win with him. Over the past couple of days, he’s really faced his fears of the garden and is now happy to do his business out there. We are so proud of him! And glad we are no longer having to clean up multiple in-house accidents a day… 📣✨ He loves cheese, doggy chocolate, all kinds of fish, and of course, sausages! He’s started being playful too ~ mainly with his giant caterpillar, and he likes to make himself comfortable on the sofa. 🛋️ Oh, and he seems to enjoy stealing our shoes and storing them in his bed like a magpie. 😆 We love him so much already, and he’s fit in perfectly with our other dog, Molly. We can’t wait to see how much more he comes out of his shell with time and patience. 🥰🐾 Thank you Daybreaks!
