Buzz (Finley)

Buzz joined myself, Koda & Mabel on a walk to Elmdon park. He was an angel! He travelled well, jumping in and out of the car by himself. He met lots of small dogs and ignored them all. He was a little unsure of bikes but nothing that I'm sure a bit more exposure wouldn't solve. I hope he gets a home soon and we can keep in contact with his new owners 😊

Such a joyful and playful lad. He was so excited for Micheal to bring him his dinner today - then when Micheal came into his kennel, Monty calmed right down and waiting for the bowl to go down! So good and well behaved...

We sadly had to say goodbye to Philip on the 27th April 2024. He left a massive hole in our lives.. heartbroken . He was mummy's precious boy ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤.

This little pocket rocket came home with me yesterday. She seemed to be a bit stressed in the kennels and I think she was being overlooked because of her boisterousness. It’s still early days, but I honestly thought I’d bought the wrong dog home as, so far, she has been a little angel!! She travelled well in the car, and last night, there wasn’t a peep out of her and she was totally clean. My plan is to socialise her a bit and let her explore the outside world, and ofcourse give her lots of treats and cuddles. So, Angiebooth, keep your your eyes peeled on this one as I’m sure she could be the perfect hound for you!

A very Happy 10th Birthday to our wonderful little Lyra! She has spent the day being spoilt rotten. :)) Presents, cards and treats, and a trip to Castle Bromwich Gardens. Finishing this evening with Egg Custards. :)) I wish our beloved Skip could have been with us to share them. Xxxxxx Lots of love and hugs to our spotty girl, today and always. Daybreaks Diary!

Hello everyone, With us in the last half of the year please see below a list of events that are remaining to take place with relevant info. If you are able to help out at any of these please let me know which event, what times you may (I know things can change) be able to help, if you may or may not be bringing a dog of your or if you want to look after a kennel dog etc. September 21st – Lollys Events (12pm-4pm is the show, I will be there to set up from 10am approx.) – Vintage Craft Fair at Hobs Moat Roadshow. Gazebo, table, ambulance will be there. We can sell small items of sweets, cakes, drinks, items from the Honesty Box etc. Ideally, would like 5 people to help on this event. https://daybreakstrust.co.uk/events/1289/ October 5th – Lollys Events (12pm-3pm) – Childrens market at Hobs Moat Roadshow. As above, same as 21st September event. https://daybreakstrust.co.uk/events/1290/ November 23rd – Morrisons Sheldon roadshow. As per previous roadshows this will be on a Saturday so should be really successful. I will be there from 8am approx, timings to be confirmed closer to the time. https://daybreakstrust.co.uk/events/1288/ December 21st and/or 22nd – Christmas Market / Ball. Details are to be confirmed in due course. However, we have been approached by Rainbow Events to be their dedicated charity partner for their events this Christmas. We will be having an event, or 2, with a market or sit down dinner or ‘’party’’ with tombola, bar, etc. The details of what is going on those days / evenings are not confirmed but we will require help with being representatives of Daybreaks and to look after kennel / pet dogs.
