Think we need to find her a plastic bowl as it makes such a crash when she drops it on the floor!! As Kate said, she stands so proudly wagging her tail, bowl in her mouth, waiting to say hello - and then has to bring her bowl out with her when she comes out for her morning wee!! <span>😍</span>

Lady now has two bowls in her kennel, one for water and the other is for her to carry around and drop on the floor! Xxx She greets you in the morning at the door of her kennel with her bowl in her mouth. She is a super, happy little girl. Xxx (Kate)

Gino

I’m Fostered

Handsome Gino came for a walk around Elmdon Park again yesterday. We didn't see many people, probably due to the rain and the cold! It didn't deter Gino though. He thoroughly enjoys his walks and makes a great companion 😊

I am very probably biased - but 5 stars to our fabulous Daybreaks team of Luci and Kate for bringing about an amazing resolution to what could have been a very traumatic situation. Over the moon to read that Bingo is living the best life - thankyou to his foster Mum for falling under his spell! Angie x

Champ

I’m Homed

I have been fostering Champ for just over 1 week and he has been a superstar. He loves fuss and cuddles from whoever he meets. He is fully house trained with no accidents. He is fantastic on his lead and has met many dogs on his walks in the park with no reaction. He will.nake somebody a fantastic companion and I will be very sorry to see him go when he gets his forever home.

Champ has apparently had sleep startle however I have not experienced this. He is very alert and inquisitive but extremely gentle.

Daybreaks Diary!

What a glorious day it was yesterday, it was great to be able to take the doggies coats off and let them get some fresh air on their skin. We have a kennels full of characters at the moment! Lady, who insists on having her water bowl as her constant companion, Zara who pops her head over the door and gazes longingly at the volunteers in the kitchen who of course have to stop what they’re doing to give her a fuss! Tuco who gets fed up of waiting for his food to arrive so he lies down flat out on the floor, usually right in front of the door so you can’t get in! Keeping fingers crossed that our boys and girls will find their forever homes soon, give the kennels a call if you would like to meet any of them, we’re open from 11am to 4pm every day except Wednesday. Stay safe and well all Angie x

Zara

Zara is lucky enough to be residing in the kitchen kennel and so has the opportunity to gaze over the split door into the kitchen, totally distracting the volunteers who are working in there!! An absolute bundle of mischief and fun, she would love to have her very own family to charm. Xx

Lady

This adorable little girl had us all in stitches this morning. For reasons best known to herself, she’s decided that the water bowl doesn’t belong in the stand but she needs to sit on her bed with it in her mouth!!! We watched her diligently work it out of the ring, water going everywhere, then jump up on her bed and sit so proudly with it dangling out of her mouth. 😍 She’s an absolute sweetheart. X
