Fantastic report from Jembob as it clearly highlights the highs and lows we can experience when these beauties come into our lives. The best advice we were given when adopting our first furbaby was provided by Kate..."have time & patience as it's a learning curve for you all"... and that's stayed with us. Casey, you and your lovely family are very lucky to have found each other and we wish you oodles of happiness together. Big hugs xxxx

When we opened up the kennels this morning lovely Wolfy got off his bed and came to greet me with a waggy tail! He also he ate all his breakfast and dinner out in the run instead of his kennel. He is adorable. Xxx

I took this little lady to the road show in Stratford today. She was absolutely fantastic. She demanded fuss from everyone passing by and if they did try to sneak past her, she made a bee line for them!! I found myself being 'encouraged' down the street a few times! She greeted all dogs politely and was great with children. The street was very busy and I think she may have felt a bit bewildered at times, but still behaved impeccably. She jumped into the car (and out again) with no problems. She's also a lot smaller than my girl and so would be great for someone after a smaller hound. She is friendly, enthusiastic, sociable and can't wait to explore the world after racing. I hope she picks her perfect owner very soon and they will be lucky to have her xx

Sounds like the perfect people have adopted Casey, they all have little hangups and our grey Dexter hates other dogs but after 4 years we figure he's not gonna change now, but he's much better than he used to be, and he used to growl if you went near his bed, now I can lie with him and do anything to him and he just loves the attention. It is so rewarding watching them grow in confidence in your care and become happy healthy hounds. Casey is a very lucky boy to have such fantastic owners. Keep up the good work xxxx
