Hi Twiggy, sounds like a plan! I have used it but I am making it hard work for mom and dad, I have perfected the 'I am not exactly sure what it is you want from me' face..... Florence x

His name should be Johnny A+ Today we went to Bruton Park together and this lad is a real star. He travelled very well in the car settled down very quickly. Given a chance off lead, I'm sure this lad would run around the whole park with other dogs. He walked very, very well with me and was impeccably behaved. Johnny is very good with people and other dogs - one particularly unpleasant little mutt made a charge at him and grabbed his coat. Johnny was completely unphased by it which is more than could be said for me! If all of the other dogs in the park were as well behaved as Johhny A+, it would be a much nicer place to walk. It's always nice when a hound exceeds your expectations.

Hi Florence, many years ago when I adopted my family they thought it would be a good idea to give me my own place in the garden where I could go for wee wees etc....However, I decided straight away I would go where I wanted to and not where they wanted me to! The following spring there was a lovely bed of daffodils where the wee wee bed used to be! Have fun :)) Lots of love Twiggy Xxx

Well the day got even better, I had thought the sardines were the peak! I took mom and dad for a lovely walk around a lake and when we got home mom started to make a flower bed in the garden, she levelled the ground and put up some edging. Dad then filled it with used compost and they started to put things away. I thought it looked as if they needed some help so I jumped in and dug all of the compost out! Not sure how pleased they were. Later the put some black fabric and some sand in it, bit small for a run.... I think the want me to use to go pee pee! Maybe I will, maybe I won't. Florence x

Gracie
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Gracie has today paid a visit to Solihulls Brueton Park with myself and 7 year old Grandson. Her behaviour towards other breeds and everyone she met including small children was perfect. She travelled well in the car. She is keen at first on the lead and may need a harness when out walking. Otherwise she was perfect in every way and will be a wonderful asset to any family able to offer her the permanent home she deserves.

What a shock. As some of you know mom treated me to a pamper session which I hated! This morning mom and dad decided that the time was right for me to have a shower....... Having been sponged down I was thrust under a warm shower, dad stopped me escaping while mom attempted to cajole me. Wrapped in warm towels a wind monster appeared - it was calmer and warmer than Doris who I met on my walk yesterday. It did get better, I got a whole tin of sardines to myself! (Usually passing small furries get to share!). I am now a 'very good girl' who 'smells and feels wonderful'. Florence x

Please prospective owners don't rule out a dog that may appear lively in the kennels most dogs will soon settle once a lead has been put on and they are out and about on a walk with lots of interesting things to see and smell! This girl has waited far too long for her sofa.

Over the Rainbow Bridge
Michelle have just been a reading the posts about Bertie. Daisydog and I send our love for a positive outcome. Dd had a nasty tumour removed in December and she has made a full recovery. Our vet is going to check her every two months but anything health related is such a worry as our fur babies get older. You are doing just the right thing for your lovely boy so heres hoping everything turns out well. Big hugs from me and the girl xx
