Bertie has not had his tumor removed today, his blood test is showing an abdomality with his Kindeys, so the vets are doing further investigations before opening him up !!... we will know more next week, so a long weekend is ahead of us now 🙁

Michelle, Roy, Bertie and Blade we will be thinking of you all. It's a horrible thing to face we know. Lena had a small tumour removed from inside her mouth last year. Our vet removed it with electro cautery so there were no stitches and luckily it was benign though we feared the worst which is just human nature. Keeping everything crossed for your gorgeous Bertie that his op goes well with a good outcome. We love them so much and they are such a big part of our lives but you have done the best thing having him seen by the vet really quickly. Virtual hugs from Linda, Paul and Lena and new girl Peggy sends licks for Bertie xxxx

Horrible day for us tomorrow, we found a tumour in Berties mouth yesterday and so after a visit to the vets today its has been decided that it is going to be remover tomorrow, last thing we want to do is put our old chap at any risk but we feel the op is giving him the best chance, we are staying positive and putting on a brave face ( but really I just want to burst into tears ) Bertie fills our lives with Joy and makes us smile everyday we are so lucky to have him in our lives x

Gracie is lovely, very friendly and likes a fuss. She does pull quite a lot on the lead at the moment but she is very new and I'm sure she will soon learn she dosn't have to win races anymore! Xx
