Well I popped into the kennels today and was met one of the most breathtakingly georgeous looking greys I have ever seen, my goodness Yogi is a stunner, I wish I was in a position to rehome him but alas we cannot at the moment, yogis picture really does not do him justice, he has a stallion of a body and the most loving eyes ????????I am in love lol xxx

Moe
Over the Rainbow Bridge
I've walked Moe for the last 3 months while waiting to go in to the trust, he settles down on the lead after being excited initially, he found a bone in the field where I walked him and I was able to take it out of his month with no problems, he is a loving dog I would have had him myself but I've already got two greyhounds, so someone give him a good home please.

Oh yes. sausages, mini scotch eggs and sausage rolls and all before dinner of pasta, chicken, gravy and kibble. Another gotcha day in 2 days time. Pattern forming don't you think, 3 in 4 days! (Obviously different years, Stevie, max and another). Wait and see folks.xxxxxx

Peggy continues to make us laugh with her antics around the house. In order to endear herself to our Lena (and therefore working towards a green sign on his page) she is having to learn to contain her youthful excitement at certain times. She is understanding the lessons and that she still gets a big fuss as long as she is calm. She's a lovely girl when al is said and done and is making us laugh quite a lot. She went to training on Saturday and I thought she showed a lot of promise (but I am a bit biased!). Until this morning, we'd not really met any other dogs on our walks nor seen any cats or squirrels. I'd never thought I'd be writing to say I was disappointed at such a situation, but in this case I am! All however was rectified today when Lena met one of her arch enemies, a black lab. I'd swear Peggy was looking at her thinking.... 'why on earth are you both doing all that barking?' The next dog to come into the park definitely got her interest though.....a little pug! She didn't bark or cry, but was very locked on to watching it as it walked away from her and she was definitely a little excited so we will have to be vigilant with small dogs, though it's too early to say whether its just curiosity on her part. The other excitement of the day is her first toilet while out on a walk! Isn't it strange what we greyhound owners celebrate? Everything in that department has been confined to the garden until now so hopefully a sign she's starting to see our walks in a different light! Kisses from Peggy xxx
