I have to say that I did have a bit of a cry over this. I am sure that you will find your perfect new hound at Daybreaks. I think we all need to remember that we are not replacing a grey but opening up our hearts and home to another worthy cause that deserves our love and care. Hope you are lucky enough to find your perfect solemate soon, I am sure that you will (hey after all I have found 5 so far)!. Xxxxxx

Oh my goodness what a heartfelt and touching message about your beautiful Ruby. I'm sure I won't be the only one who sheds a tear or two after reading this. There will be another greyhound who is ready to accept your love and care when the time is right for you and your family. Ruby
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Ruby joined our family in 2011 and after 5 years and almost 3 months of pure bliss, our beautiful Ruby sadly crossed over the bridge following a short battle with the horrid 'C' word (joining our other dog in the photo, Copper, who left us in 2013 at the grand old age of 16 years). Thank you so much Ruth for letting Ruby join our family, Ruby was perfect in every way. She loved a run on the beach, was golden with the kids and other dogs, she was so quick to learn new tricks. Her favourite pastime remained snuggled up sleeping though and she never did get the hang of not trying to fly through the air like Bambi when seeing a cat but we didn't mind that. It has been almost a year since she left us and I still miss her calm, loveliness so much. We are nearly ready to welcome another hound into our family so when the time comes, I hope you would be kind enough to fill our lives once again with one of your gorgeous Grey's. xx

Jembob, I am sure Snap will enjoy his walk with you on Saturday. He really is adorable, sounds like my hound Jack, he sleeps like a cat, even falls asleep whilst waiting for his dinner. They are all so special, each one with their own quirky ways, but I do hope this boy doesn't have to wait too much longer for a loving home xxx

Oh we certainly do Auntie Kate. The hooman's didn't eat all their beefy stew yesterday, rumour has it we might get some of that tonight. Yum with dumplings too. Me (Wills) and the gang are very lucky sometimes. We do Lubs our muvva.
