Sending my cuddle to the very lovely Diesel tonight. So very sorry for his owner it must have been so hard to have to let him go. He spent most of the day in the office, what a very special boy he is. Brilliant to see him reserved. Xxx

Lucy

Lucy got her revenge on Snap this week. On the way back from Bruton Park, Lucy was the first to claim the back seat of the car - she's a quick learner. Left with little space, Snap decided to just sit on Lucy. We had to stop the car and sort them out but the do make a great couple! They insist on trying to get out of the car at the same which can be a bit of a handful but fun!

Today's venue for Snap and Lucy was Bruton Park. Snap is such a pleasure to take out and he thoroughly enjoyed our walk around the park. Snap is a top, top hound and we are very fond of him.

Diesal has sadly been returned today due to his owners ill health which is heartbreaking after being in a home for 5 years. What more could anyone want - he is a small grey, cat friendly, small dog friendly, goes off the lead and is so sweet. Please give us a call if you think you could offer this gentle little boy a home.......

Gigi came home with me again last night. She is being a perfect house guest and is just adorable! She slept on a bed on the floor in our bedroom and didn't stir at all. She manages the stairs gently and met our friend's two year old grandson and she just took herself off into the other room and lay quietly when things got noisy! She is learning that wee wee goes outside but am having to think of a new toilet command as wee wee and Gigi are just too similar!!!!!

Evie (Genie)

Genie has had a very merry Christmas and New Year with us but now it's back to work (for me anyway). I'm up early and so is Genie, always ready for her breakfast or a treat - sometimes she helps herself from your hand or from Ollie or Reggie's mouth. We are working on that! She is a very loving girl who likes nothing better than climbing on your lap for a cuddle and a face lick.

Peggy

Peggy is a bundle of fun who loves a good play with the toys, whether they squeak or not! She is walking nicely on the lead and has been clean in the house. Being so young she has a fair amount to learn about boundaries and that is work in progress! She's good at bedtime and there's been no crying overnight or any other sort of fuss. The first night she paced for 10 mins before she settled down and but she was fine the next night. She just loves big style to say hello when we get up in the morning and she is a total fuss pot! It was earlier than planned but we had to leave her and Lena for a few hours today and she and Lena just snoozed (we were able to watch them on the camera) . Lena has been terrible on her own since we lost Lola but today she didn't get upset at all. Peggy met our friends at the stables this afternoon and they all loved her but everyone commented on how big she is! We're planning to take her to training tomorrow to meet more friends so that should be fun! Watch this space..... Xx

Peggy (and Lady) have spent 3 full working days at home and they have been brilliant. Peggy is very lovely little girl and very easy to look after. She's so excited to see us when we come home - she really is full of love. You won't be disappointed if you choose to share your life with this beautiful little girl.

End of a shorter working week than normal, but Lady and Peggy have been golden. So 3 full working days in the house on their own and they have been brilliant - nothing destroyed and no mess! Lady just needs some fuss, food and a garden - she really is a lovely girl!

Well Jed has had a busy day he did his usual visit to a local care home and on exiting the lift we came face to face with the homes resident cat!!! Thank god I hadn't taken Lottie this week as it was my reactions just about saved the day, I haven't moved so fast in ages!! We then went to a dog friendly cafe and had lunch by an open fire followed by a meeting at my place of work when he had to negotiate stairs! He went up but I ended up carrying him down! Well done Jed.
