Hello guys Would it be OK if my mom and dad come to Daybreaks this Sunday about 11:30am? They have some blankets and towels to keep our friends warm until they find a forever home. Also Susi and I had some tinned fish for Christmas. Susie and I would like to give some to our friends at Daybreaks. Hope that’s OK? Loves of love Dutchess

Hello to all my friends at Daybreaks. I thought I would give you an update on my progress in my forever home. I’m living the dream and loving it. Dutchess is such a wonderful big sister. At Christmas we had more people in the house but Dutchess told me not to be nervous and just look at them with floppy ears and they would give us treats – and they did – wow. Anyway, thank you so much Daybreaks for finding me a wonderful home x x Lots of love Susie

Peggy met Lena this afternoon and neither seemed to dislike the other so she has come home with us to see how they get along together in our home. She's a lovely girl and seems to be a quick learner. She's had an afternoon nap and then eaten all her dinner. Nothing has phased her so far. Fingers and paws crossed. No dog could ever replace our Lola but we would very much like Lena to enjoy having Peggy for company. As for Paul and I, we will just be content if we can give another of these gorgeous hounds a loving home X

Hey everyone! It has been a while but I wanted to give you all an update on Cally Coo. It is almost 6 months since we welcomed this cheeky girly into our lives and it is by far the best decision we ever made. She is full of love and cuddles for everyone and has taken a particular liking to my Dad - Her eyes light up every time he comes round and she often uses him as a leaning post! He considers her an honorary grandchild I think, constantly making sure we are looking after 'his' dog properly :-)! We have just enjoyed our first Christmas as a family of 5 and she enjoyed her Doggy advant calander and stocking along with a new cuddly squeeky toy that the children picked for her and a new snuggly bed! We love this girly to bits and are looking forward to 2017 with her very much. Cally sends virtual cuddles to you all and thanks you for looking after her so well and finding her a family who love her dearly 🙂 xxxx

Well, what a little star this girl is! Having never been in home before she has quickly settled into home life. Today came the first "back to work" test - five hours for Lady (and Peggy) in the home today and they were amazing! She would benefit from a room with a view as she loves to watch the squirrels and birds, but she is such a good girl and gave us the most amazing welcome when we came home. She is so full of life and just needs a loving home (and a garden with squirrels and birds would be very nice too!!)

Peggy (and Lady) were due to be returned to Daybreaks on Jan 2nd but are having a slightly extended stay with us until Sunday (Jan 8th). We know potential owners often worry how dogs will cope if they go out to work. Today came the first test with five hours on their own and we can confirm there were no problems at all - just a very big welcome when we returned! They are also fantastic at night, both spend the night downstairs and don't even whimper during the night but certainly give us the most amazing greeting every morning - they just love being in a home environment.
