Many of our volunteers and helpers at Daybreaks always have our favourite kennel friends, a boy or girl who we take a particular interest in and follow more closely than all the other beauties. Its no secret that little Lady is very much my favourite and I am very sad for her and at the same time amazed that she hasn't been snapped up right away. I cannot understand why she has waited so long as she always greets me with a kiss and cuddle whenever I visit. I'm keeping everything crossed for her for as much as I love to see her I'd like it to be as a much loved pet as soon as possible. Please somebody give this little poppet the home she so deserves xx

I hope my pals Snap and Lucy are OK. I filmed them in their kennel on Saturday morning, just hanging around having fuss and treats. What beautiful hounds they are - everybody who has seen the clip agrees. Both should really have found a home by now. I certainly think that Snap needs a bit of time out of kennels at the weekend.

Ladysmith isn't keen on being in her kennel, so she came into the kitchen and "helped" prepare the dinners this afternoon. She just had a look in the dishes to see what was on the menu. 🙂 She was great with Skip, although he was very unsociable and went to sleep! What a lovely girl. Xxx
