Last tuesday Breeze was a brave girlie and donated blood ! if anyone has thought about it - do it - if you haven't heard or thought about it, well now you have. The Pet Blood Bank staff were great they looked after Breeze and Archive (who is to old to donate but my two go everywhere together) really well, and on finding out she was a Daybreaks hound they had nothing but good things to say about Ruth, Kate and the rest of the team. Little Rosie visited me at the vets today for her booster before she goes to her new home on Friday! She was well behaved letting Christian give her a health check, but when it came to the injection she turned into a bit of a wimp bless her. Good luck Rosie po xxx

Well it's not every day you can say that you got trapped inside a care home with two greyhounds by a cat! The intrepid duo Jed and Lottie were doing their weekly visit and were just about to leave when we encountered the care home's cat who decided to sit outside the exit door which is glass and look at us no amount of shooing was going to move him! I knew they had a cat but he has always avoided us until today, we had to be rescued by a member of staff! Hilarious!

Well I think Lottie was aiming for a treat for breakfast this morning - vennison!!! We saw two dear on our morning walk it was like trying to control a rock propelled greyhound!!!!

Thanks everyone for your kind hints n tips. Fudge is settling well after we borrowed the crate from the centre, he seems to settle much better in there. It's just under a week since we had him and he is now going most nights until 5.30. We only had two wee's the first day after being excited and after about 4-5 times of being told 'no' about getting on the settees (purely cos there's not room!..lol) he hasn't tried since even when in the lounge on his own. His first encounter with a long mirror was interesting - Obviously wasn't happy with his hair that day!:).....He's our gentle giant and we're hoping he continues to settle well into our family and routine as we all settle back to work next week.
