this little girl has stolen my heart she is quite fiesty but she is so loving there is no room for no 5 in my house it's bursting with greyhounds but if i had to pick one she would be it love ya xxxx

Aaargh - we are many miles away on holibobs but do like to check on the houndies now and then. ABSOLUTELY GUTTED to see Cadbury back. Cadbury I've known you since you very first came to Daybreaks and you are so lovely. I do hope a new sofa comes soon. If you are still there when we come home I will give you a special cuddle. Xx

It has been a year to the date today that I brought Maggie home. She is a completely different dog to this time last year. It took her so long to settle in (I would say about 6 months!!) and I did at several points think she never would! A big thank you here to Ruth, Kate, Joyce and Lisa for the support and guidance. They all told me it would be OK and it really was. Maggie does something go make me smile everyday; whether that is rearranging my door stops or running in crazy loops around the garden. I can't even remember a time without her now. Here's to many more years with her 🙂

Over the Rainbow Bridge
Great news from the New Forest. Stanley has been with us (as of today - 12th April) 3 years, Gemma for 3.5 years. It has flown by. We love them to bits. We were up in the Midlands last week for a few days, on Friday we called to the kennels it was busy and noisy. We got some food and all had lovely hugs from Auntie Ruth. Ruth and all the helpers do a fantastic job for all us greys and humans too. A thousand thanks and lots of love Stanley, Gemma plus Tim & Sue xxxx

Oh Jimmy why are you still at Daybreaks I know that bigger greyhounds may seem a bit daunting to some people but all I would say is that my 'big' girl has never caused me any problems and because greys are generally such gentle dogs their size is not an issue. Please do not over look them or rule them out as being too big.

Kitty's family are extremely sad to return her to the kennels. Despite all their efforts she is struggling to settle and they feel they are unable to give her the help she needs. They say she is a very special little girl and desperately hope she will find the right home as soon as possible. Xxx

Rose had a nice walk in Brueton park... very easy on lead and gets on fine with other breeds... a perfect grey for new grey owners....Xxx
