Dandy arrived at Daybreaks on April 6th feeling quite a confused boy after leaving his previous kennels and visiting the vets for his neutering but has now settled into life at Daybreaks and today was able to enjoy his first morning out in the big wide world with a visit to Elmdon Park. He took it all in his stride in a calm relaxed manner meeting dogs of different breeds and sizes without any show of aggression whatsoever. One very feisty Chihuahua (off the lead) stood right in his face barking at him and Dandy totally ignored him and showed no reaction whatsoever. He travelled well in the car jumping in on his own and is relaxed on the lead. For anyone looking to find a dog to enjoy days out in the park or on a relaxed walk this handsome brindle boy would be the perfect companion for you.

I've given my cuddle to Jodie today. Paul and I popped into Daybreaks and I couldn't resist sitting with her for a little while. She is so very affectionate and such a happy little thing. I'd never have said she is almost 10 if I'd had to guess her age. Hope she doesn't have to wait very long for someone who can give her a new life. Good luck Jodie xxxx

So very glad Glen has been reserved. Dunc isn't the only volunteer who would have had this boy if there had been room for him at home! Time and Time again I have heard " if I was in the line up for another greyhound I would have had Glen like a shot". Good luck lovely boy and your new owners. Pam

Had the pleasure of taking Tam to Stratford for the walk today.what a stunning dog. He behaved perfectly although a bit lively to start. He is a big cuddle monster and loves leaning on you. I really hope it's not long for Tam to find his new home and whoever gets him will have a real asset to their family. Thank you for being such a good boy today xxx

I had the pleasure of walking Jodie this morning... she was a real diamond.. very easy on the lead looks years younger than her age and so affectionate...loves the fuss.. would make a perfect companion and is cat friendly....mary xx

It must have been very difficult to return her. Hopefully time with her sister will help settle her - they clearly enjoy being together and she enjoyed sleeping with her sister last night. I think that might have something to do with the run yesterday. I know the exercise helped us sleep. We are so grateful to Springy...
